Disappointing experience on a Saturday evening at Sarin’s. Wait time was over an hour for food, having to ask staff multiple times. Incorrect meal was brought to the table. Main meal (gnocchi) was extremely bland in taste; likened to mushed weetbix. Waiter asked for feedback, which was kindly provided. Waiter admitted that was “not good” did not follow up.
Attempting to pay the bill meant we were moved from once register to another due to incapability to write up the bill. Requested an individual receipt for individual payments, which was met with frustration by wait staff.

Bit of a let down: (
As a vegan I was very keen to give this place a go with their vegan-friendly menu but sadly that was the only positive from our experience. Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon in the restaurant, it was bare - only 3 tables with people including ours. The experience in order:
1. Placed on a table on one side of the restaurant only to be moved to another table a few minutes later.
2. Wait staff never asked us if we would like a drink with our meals and never replaced the complimentary water.
3. Waited 90 minutes for our meals which would be understandable if the restaurant was busy but as mentioned it was bare.
4. Unfortunately the food failed to make up for the above. The entree of potato skins was cold, the blue fin tuna was a let down and the gnochhi was also served cold.
5. And to top it off the eftpos machine we went to pay on didn't work - no biggy on its own but just capped off a very unsatisfying experience.
Hopefully we just got them on a bad day.

Breakfast was a good affair.
Nice tables and booths.
Good service.
Ordered eggs Benedict, latte, yoghurt with berries and a pash n’ shoot smoothie.
Benedict eggs were good, bacon wasn’t great nor was the muffin.
Yoghurt n berries was quite good.
Latte average but smoothie very tropical and nice.
A little disappointed but still was ok.

We ordered a seafood platter for one and crumbed whiting. The fish was great. The seafood platter was filling but not the best we've ever had and we had an added surprise. We found a fly under the mussels. We removed it and put it on the bread plate and asked the waitress to take it away. We didn't want to make a fuss but were very surprised when the waitress took the plate to the hostess who completely ignored the incident. The least she should have done was offer an apology. Not great customer service

Too expensive for the experience we received.
We were asked at seating if we wanted sparkling water, but never received it
We shared a platter for 1. But had to ask for extra plates. No lemon was given for a seafood platter and no crab fork supplied.
The crab and Morton bay bug were spoilt by a tomato puree dressing. The oysters were on rock salt and the tuna cervice was unpalatable.

Always an indulgence to enjoy time in Sarins. Love it best when live music is playing - which is often!

4 of us went out for breakfast. They weren’t too busy, lots of free tables. We all ordered on the same docket.
Two meals came out first, the second two meals came out after the first two people had already finished their plate.
No apology from staff, no care factor. We went out for breakfast to eat together and ended up eating separately and the second two needing to rush due to transport arriving to pick us up.

The food was exceptional. Highly recommended. The atmosphere was good. The staff were amazing. Especially Jenni she was fantastic. Wish all waitresses were like her. Wil definitely be back.

Great location disappointing food. A restaurant and chef with the best seafood at the door serves very disappointing seafood platter $140 for 4 prawns 2 scallops chips and battered fish. No mussels no crab no grilled fish no grilled prawns as stated. Very disappointing, we had been told by a local we would get a better value platter from the pub and unfortunately he was right.

Dont know why the sour reviews!? This place doesnt state its 5 star or anything so why do people expect it!? We had room service & the young lady that brought it up was sweet & polite! Bar man that served me was abit arrogant tho. However the beef & chicken snitzels we ordered were cooked just right, toppings were also very nice & as for price.well its about the normal for most hotels & resautants.
Other than the barman.all the other staff were prompt, very polite and pleasant!
Would eat here again when we get the chance to come to Lincoln again.
We own a business so time away is hard and we appreciate the time & effort that goes into running a business and getting good staff & having good food!

Unfortunately didn’t wow any of us. It was on the pricey side but food was average consistently. Service was attentive and the live band in the area was ok but only cos we sat very far away otherwise it would’ve been way too loud.

Unfortunately they have been understaffed due to Covid recently. Hoping they recover to continue the high standard normally provided.

My recent visit and experience to the Bar/Bistro was somewhat disappointing, however, there were some notable highlights.
The staff greeted us with smiles and were polite though somewhat reserved.
The glasses of Sparklng wine served were flat so we returned them, and new bubbles poured. We enquired about a light menu to accompany our wine but was informed the kitchen had closed for the day, which was fair enough as 3.30pm (but then again it is peak tourist season in the city) then I asked for some crisps or similar but they had run out of behind the bar. We were informed we could purchase some across the road at the Drive Thro Bottle'O.
We sat outdoors in the recently completed courtyard area which now also has an enclosed area and canopy to escape the sun's rays or the cool winds. There is varied seating options, high or low tables and booth seating. The decor is in keeping with the beach vibe and colours of ocean waters. The view out across of the magnificent Morton Bay fig and beyond of Boston Bay is pretty special.

Below standard. Was all over cooked. Poached eggs were like rubber balls, mushrooms way over done. Not a pleasant way to start the morning. Very very disappointing. The manager wasn't willing to refund as I didn't bring it to their attention soon enough. Goodluck with your business

Our breakfast was not appetising at all. Also, we ordered two hot chocolate in a mug and it tasted like Milo. We weren’t happy with the experience. The $50 plus that we spent was not worth it at all, we had to go to another cafe just to be satisfied. I reckon the food is overpriced and I hope the issue with hot chocolate will be looked at as Milo is not the same as hot chocolate. I don’t think we’re coming back again.

We have dined here multiple times during our stay. The food is absolutely beautiful, the restaurant has glass wall so you get a nice view of outside trees and the sea. They have outdoor tables, my husband and I sat there for a drinks while waiting for our table inside, not a bad idea at all to have a few drinks while enjoying the view outdoor. The service is okay, can be better. We were welcomed on our first visit. On our second visit we were seated and serve better when we first visited by the same staff. When you have in house guests dining, always treat them like in house (their house) customer. Repeat customer always welcome them as a repeat (already know) customer. Loyal and repeat customer will always save the business. All in all the dining experience beautiful and will definitely come back, the prices reasonable.

Massaman spiced lamb shanks with Bombay potatoes and coriander cucumber salad. Love to meet the genius who came up with this one, no sarcasm here, just an incredibly delicious dish. Taking the traditional heavy sweet dish and somehow adding flavour by lightening it? Dialling down the caramel, and a tart salad in the same bowl to refresh the palate whenever required. Brilliant.

Seafood platter for two was $140. It had chips and salad, two small pieces of whiting a handfull of salt n pepper squid, 6 mussels, a tiny bowl of leather jacket cheeks and a few prawns.
Very underwhelmed considering its the premier hotel in the seafood capital of Australia.
