We just had our wedding in Dec. Sam was amazing. Very accommodating and so attentive to everyone’s individual requests. We all felt very beautiful and had the most fun getting ready. Sam is such a lovely and kind soul, I felt really safe & assured entrusting my hair and makeup into her talented hands on the day of the shoot. She was gentle & efficient and knew what I wanted, and was able to refine the look at the end to create a perfect outcome that I was rly pleased with. We had great chats and I would totally love to get coffee together one day! I also got to play with her gorgeous ginger-coloured cat!

Sam did me and my bridesmaids makeup and hair. She is absolutely amazing at her job, everything looked so perfect and was the exact look I was going for. Could not recommend her enough. She’s professional but also fun and it feels like she is just a part of your bridal party getting ready. Will definitely be recommending her to friends and family.

I'd recommend Sam to anyone wanting their make up and hair done for any event but particularly for a wedding. Sam slotted in seamlessly to the morning of my wedding, chatting away to myself, my mum and my three bridesmaids and she knew the look I wanted without me having to explain too much. I trusted her completely to make us all look and feel amazing and everyone was really happy with the final results. She was good at distracting me with small talk too when the nerves set in! Samantha Ruby is INCREDIBLE at what she does. She did both my hair and makeup on my wedding day and both were absolutely perfect and lasted all night long. She has the sweetest, most genuine attitude that made everyone feel so calm and relaxed the morning of our wedding. She was such a pleasure to work with in the whole lead up and I will never stop recommending her enough. I will never forget when my husband stopped and told me that this was the best my makeup had ever looked and he was absolutely right!

Sam is so lovely! She made us feel so comfortable on such a stressful morning and was so accommodating to all of our needs. We all were so happy with our makeup and her attention to detail. I can’t recommend Samantha  highly enough.

Best makeup I’ve had! Best is such an overused word, but Samantha Ruby’s makeup and hair was just that. Exactly the look I asked for, but better – glam, flawless skin (she somehow even managed to soften the appearance of lines!) and lasted all night. And her beautiful studio is an added bonus to what was an all-round lovely experience.

I booked Sam to do my wedding make up (and for my sister, mother, and mother in law) last December and just wanted to say that she does the most beautiful make up and hair. She listens to exactly what you want and is happy to make changes along the way.

I am naturally very fair and didn't want to look too brown and Sam did a perfect job of ensuring I had a little colour and looked great both in photos and in person. She did beautiful hair also that lasted all day (for myself, my sister, and my mother). She did my sister's make up but what I want to mention is how fantastic she made both my mother and my mother in law look. I have never seen them look so fabulous! It's easy enough to make young skin look great but both mothers looked flawless and had beautiful make up that really worked for them AND lasted all day (I'm talking 10am-midnight with warm weather and dancing). Sam did such an expert job on all of us with colouring, accentuating eye colour and she made everyone look like themselves, just 1000x better.

On top of the excellent artistry, she is very down to earth, easy to talk to, and very warm and personable. I recommend Samantha Ruby Artistry to everyone. I will definitely rebook with Sam in the future.
