Salvos Stores Parafield reviews
26Some interesting items to be found. Also some books that look in excellent condition and at very reasonable prices too. CD's, clothing, shoes, toys, bedding, furniture and jewellery. The staff member that was serving a customer was quick to tell me that there was a percentage off of blue ticketed items today.
Every time I have been there staff are helpful and friendly. Good selection of everything
No it has not changed. Still a pleasant place to shop
Another salvos which thinks it's a special antiques and high value trader.
Buy stuff cheaper at antique stores, or even new.
Very expensive for an op shop. I appreciate the boutique section is commonly brand names but seeing a shirt from Shein in that section priced at $15 was shocking. For those unaware, Shein is an online fast fashion website where they rarely have anything over $20.
There was also a shirt from Cotton On, another fast fashion company, priced at $20 in the same section.
I think this store really needs to rethink what makes it to this boutique section and how they price things. I've got some really good things from other Salvos boutique sections but this one is a bit of a mess.
The clothes on the regular racks also seemed to be priced quite high for what they were. I've seen for profit op shops with lower prices.
Also I wouldn't be surprised if a previous review about how the prices on dresses are reasonable was from a volunteer because that's what it seems like.
Rude, Rude, Rude Won't go there again and the prices are ridiculous your a charity shop not a retail store you idiots so behave.
What has happened to the op shops these days!? Who is pricing these items, seriously? Ridiculously overpriced items at this store it seems to be just put a "boutique clothing " tag on it and charge $25+. If you're going to charge department store prices for preloved goods I may as well just shop in the department stores
Never worn formal dresses at ⅓ of the brand new price with original price tags still attached.some of these dresses were selling well above $400 brand new so the prices are more than reasonable.
Very expensive, whoever is doing pricing needs to get out into the real world and see your more expensive than most shops selling new!
I read the reviews online and didn't believe them. But believe them!
This is the most overpriced salvo store I've been to, and I've been to easily over 100 by now, including the local one in Salisbury.
Went looking for a nice formal dress today and could not believe the prices they were trying to get for them. Plenty to choose from, but at outrageous prices for a salvo store.
$150! If you have that kind of money to spend on a dress you would not be looking at a donated one.
On average you would expect to pay $40 max! That is a fair price point in comparison to the majority of other op shops.
Do yourself and the community a favour and donate your items to another salvo store. One that people can actually afford to buy from. This one is not doing the community any good by making donated items unaffordable.
Very good place for cheap clothes however there were no seats in the change rooms. No where to put your phone keys and other things you do really want putting on the floor.
This is a great store, always a friendly face, helpful staff, and a great range, I think this is the best Salvo store in the state and a credit to the team. Thanx
Demanded to see my face mask exemption even though half the staff weren't wearing their mask over their noses. Rude, would not recommend. Tracey the manager was no help and told me not to make a big deal - I told her to call the cops.
Just went in and the prices are ridiculous I understand they have rent to pay but $6 for a small plastic cup
$4.50 for a used travel mug only $5 new
$50 for 4 cups and saucers
These are all items donated for the unfortunate not a antique shop to charge too $$
This store is fantastic so much variety and prices are reasonable. The staff are fantastic they are all so friendly and understanding and the manager Tracey and worker Sharon went out of their way to help me with what I needed and were so understanding to my situation. I would recommend this store to everyone you won't be disappointed best service I have had in a long time Thank you will definately be back and advise anyone to go have a look and grab a bargain:)
A smaller but still good selection of kitchenware, clothes, books and toys, the staff are very friendly and organised.
Would recommend/10
I haven't been in here for a while due to the customer service but popped in while at Bunnings.
Lovely guy Mark at the counter, very friendly and helpful with advice on updating my membership card. Great customer service.
Spend up prices very high.
Thank You
The store is large. The layout is great. The staff great. The negative was my sister & I thought a lot of the prices were too high.
Rang the service dinger twice, couldn't see any staff in the store. Didn't get served, walked out. Children's clothes over priced and had nothing in the half price colour.
Munno and Galwer Salvos much better.
Loveliest staff. Always a bargain to find. $1tea towels probably my favourite thing love the quality
Very hard to get to unless you have your own vehicle, access to public transport is bad unless you are prepared to take the risk of crossing Main North rd, closest bus is the 228.
