Salvos Stores Kensington Gardens reviews
37I used to shop here a lot. Several times a month. I have left empty handed on my last few trips. Everything is now extremely expensive and not worth buying second hand at all.
Great range of items and for the most part, staff are helpful and friendly. However, prices are quite expensive. There is one female staff member who has been unjustifiably rude on a few occasions.
Prices are expensive! No longer an op shop but a grab for money. Salvos now has paid staff and is not run by volunteers. Which would explain the ridiculous hike in prices. Will be spending my money at smaller op shops where the money goes to those who need it - not to pay for marketing and paid staff. Salvos need to rethink their business model.
Over priced and rude staff. Asked to put a cup in their bin and she said “not with the ice in it. ”
Very over priced. The manager not friendly at all. Yelling at staff. Far from the spirit of a charitable organisation.
Salvos Kensington Park quite expensive really I'll stick to gumtree thanks even a suit was $40 can buy new one at Lowe's for $49 this week lost me
But it is expensive. $24 for women's shoes. $12 for blouses men's shirts. Not the cheapest around.
Salvo Store is Awesome place too shop lots & lots of great things too buy & the new shop next door is worth going having a look lots of great things to buy & great customer service.
I prefer savers these days to any other op shop salvos is boring and some things are over priced considering its all donated
Large busy Salvos, good range of everything you could possible want second hand, clothing, books, furniture bedding etc.we had a good look around the shop. It is quite large and well organised
I find this Salvos to be quite a bit more expensive than others I visit. Overall neat store, easy to find size you are looking for
People working there are friendly, but it is no longer a place to go when I am broke. Prices are far too high, sometimes more than other stores charge for new products. Other charity stores don't jack up prices, therefore salvos no longer provide for those among us who have very little disposable income. It's profit now, not support.
Large store with plenty of clothes, books, bric a brac, furniture to look at. Prices on some items a little bit expensive considering it is an op shop. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Nice, friendly and helpful staff. A good range & variety, always some interesting items. Defs worth a scope:)
I think $15 for a second hand t shirt is a bit much considering it was donated. Regardless of the suburb
Very expensive considering all goods received are donated. Have been told by staff that prices reflect the area we live in. Wake up Salvos. I also Op. Shop at Vinnies at the Parade or Savers at Tea Tree Plaza. You have lost me as both a donator and buyer.
A big store. Staff always friendly and items are more unique here than you find in other Salvo stores. Lots of designer brand name clothes and evening dresses and wedding dresses too. Lots of parking out front and some out back and plenty of 2 hr parking in side streets.
