Salvos Stores Darlington reviews
11Nice neat store, got good stuff in there for good prices unless branded it’ll be a little more but overall loved the experience and the workers there was amazing too (:
All salvos should be disgusted with themselves, not allowing volunteers unless they are jabbed.
What about your duty to do no harm, respect and equality.
Me and a lot of people we know will NEVER SUPPORT SALVOS AGAIN - you should ALL be ashamed!
Friendly staff, easy parking, some furniture, you never know what you'll find here. Highly recommended. Good variety of books.
Bargains with incredibly friendly staff. Stock turns over quickly so call past regularly. I have donated an old drum kit and then bought a new violin the next month. I am trying to give more than I buy at the moment, so look out for some really cool plaid shirts...
I love giving items another life with me! Some great bargains to be had at great prices! Lots to choose from.
I usually go to St Mary's and Kings Park. All the staff at these stores are so lovely. Thought I would try Darlington. Clothing is great.prices just right but not impressed with Jason. He's not very pleasant at all. Only volunteer I have ever come across that's not very helpful. It has to do with my pension card. I haven't been issued with my new card yet. Coming in March. I have a card but it's out of date but I have other proof but he shut me down made me feel like a liar so I paid full price as it's embarrassing for me to be questioned and put on the spot. I know he is only doing his job but show some compassion. I don't usually give reviews but he made me feel awful. I buy and donate a lot of money to Salvos. Feel a bit yuck.
Nice place, cordial volunteers. We have bought household essentials, children's books at cheap prices.
Love Salvo stores always displayed great.friendly staff great prices on most things usually always find something to buy
I love any shop that uses what we already have the only trouble is quite often they are cheaper new
This Salvos store is one of my favourite charity stores this side of town. I like that the prices are still a little lower then in other charity shops. The store is medium sized and is well merchandised. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Like all other salvos stores way over priced but come across the occasional bargain. There were jackets there for $35 - $50 and im a single father of 2 not to mention i get looked at and followed like im a thief. Because i wear a cap. They dont take into account im a 40yo with full time employment and 2 kids. I thought these stores were designed for those who struggle. I wont donate my goods to salvos after the pricing of all the salvos stores ive been into the past month. Here i come Vinnies.just a note too this isnt a shot at this Salvos Store as its one of the best in Adelaide. Just a Shot at Slavos in general. The prices are too heavy considering the stuff was donated to yous and most ya workers are volunteers. Great lil shop tho with a friendly blonde lady behind the counter with eyes that just WOWed me ;). I was happy to hand her money for the right priced items. And admired her professional customer service and the smile she put with it. Thanks {:
