Salt at the Elliot

Fabulous service and food!

We shared 3 entrees and 3 mains among 4 of us, it was just the right amount of food. Highlights were the crab and prawn linguine and the strip loin steak, although practically every dish we had was delicious.

Service was prompt and friendly, all the food came out in really good time despite there being quite a few other tables.

Big props to the chefs but bigger props to the women on the floor who made the experience feel very light and easy!

Decor is light and modern, scandi style. Waitresses were excellent. Shared plates were delicious. Chicken schnitzels did not disappoint. Huge area for functions out the back.

We are very easy going and have never complained about a dining experience previously but…
Extremely poor service, waited an hour for 2 breakfast burgers and had to remind the staff about our food when there was no one else dining in. No apology for the wait or the forgotten food and general dis-interest in serving customers.

First time visit at Salt at the Elliot. High expectations were met with fantastic food and friendly service. We ordered a few tapas to share, the arancini, zucchini crostini, prawns and the duck. Each dish was just perfectly presented and delicious. We had the pork belly for mains, big serve, soft tender pork with tasty sauce. Shared desert, we ordered the chocolate cremeux which was to die for. 5 star food and 5 star service, would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

What a fantastic place great atmosphere awesome food and excellent service, I will definitely be back for more tapas.

King George Whiting was extremely small, definitely under the legal limit. When this was pointed out the staff response was to not offer us dessert!
