Salsa's Fresh Mex Grill reviews
34 Good food, excellent chips, and friendly staff.
It's hard to review the atmosphere as the store is located in a shared food court.
For snack sized food they charge lunch price. You won't be satiated even if you pay 30$.
I purchased two separate meals and was only given one. Upon following up, was given the other. Unfortunately when I got back to my work I realized the chips was missing.
Called them straight up and said my chips was missing. The girl instantly knew my name and said ' ohh yeah we forgot to give them to you'. I was 'offered' to spend my time driving back there to get the chips, which I didn't have time for. I requested that my whole meal (burrito and chips) be replaced, to which they refused. The lady I spoke with had an extremely attitude and told me that she was not able to refund the money to my credit card after I told her it was not worth my time driving back. She continued to tell me that the situation was not her fault. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A COMPLETE LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY
The aussie person with the glasses is very rude and acts like you asked her to cross the sahara for the bare minimum.they constantly roll their eyes and have an attitude.this is why Guzman is beating them in business.
I had a burrito bowl and it was 80% rice and not much else. Was expensive as well over $18 so disappointing overall
Twice i’ve been here and specifically clarified that i want no sour cream or cheese on the mucho veg bowl and asked for it to be vegan and both times they’ve drowned it in sour cream and cheese
Yesterday was good. Today was not.
Burrito had hardly any steak or cheese in it. Maybe they should rethink training staff on how to make them properly. Not impressed at all.
The place has been good for us, but today's experience has pushed me to give this review. We just ordered chips and we got after 10 minutes, it was just 2 chips at top were hot and all below ones were COLD. When we returned and asked for hot ones, we can see one employee at the back looked at the front desk employee and exchanged expression, which were obvious indicator that, they were expecting it to come back and they immediately asked us to wait further and gave us presumably fresh one, which was hot. But surely with this experience felt not good at all. We had been to this one place at least 20 odd times in last 4 years, and was average eatable kind of joint but this experience is way below average. Just too unprofessional.
Had Terrible experience after 4years buying my meal chicken fajita the rice inside the meal wasn't cooked well dry and hard. It took long to be served the meal. The lady on customer care kept going back and front appeared to be in doubt with the other staff took time standing and looking at customers wasting time that was precious for me.
Eaten here once before and ordered a burrito and loved it so i confidently went back the next time i was at Marion thinking id get another great burrito. But nope! Had the worst burrito i’ve ever had, i couldn’t even finish it because all the filling fell out when I was half way through eating it. It was clear when i was handed the burrito that it wasn’t wrapped tightly enough, thats why it fell apart and obviously its a burrito so you cant put it back together, also when they gave me the burrito it was covered in sauce.terrible terrible experience complete waste of money! Don’t waste your money here!
Never had any issues with any salsas before but I've consistently had issues here, first time I ordered a burrito bowl with guacamole and they delivered the food with no guac and I went back to get my guacamole and he proceeded to fill my bowl with so much guacamole it was like 1: 1 ratio to food and very unappetising. The second I ordered a burito bowl with guacamole and this time the bowl was half full and was completely unsatisfied there was a thin layer of rice ay the bottom. Don't recommend going here at all.
Went to this place today. Ordered chicken nachos. They didn't even fill it up properly like other Salsas. The chicken was so chewy and it wasnt cooked properly. I threw up when i got home cuz i didnt feel well after it. The ppl who worked there literally were having convos with eachother and not doing their job. I literally had to wait for a long time even though it wasnt even busy.
Typically, I love Salsa's. I don't know where it went wrong in this instance, but maybe you can draw a conclusion from the facts I am about to state. I ordered a Baja Steak Bowl, add guacamole, add sour cream. I received a burrito, not bowl. I pointed this out and the girl who took my order apologised and told the kitchen staff to make it again as a bowl. I wasn't upset by this, it wasn't really her fault, it was loud in the background at Westfield, and all this mask wearing bs, really makes it hard to hear people in certain situations. I was surprised when my bowl was ready seconds later. The steak inside it was cold, I still ate the whole thing because the flavours were great. Half and hour later, violently ill. When I say violent, I mean projectiles from both ends. Abdominal pain that was beyond anything I'd had before. It had come on after I had started to get some groceries from Coles. Cold sweats, faint. I almost left all my groceries behind then and there, and I'd already paid for them, just to speed up my exiting time. I needed to get home. My youngest was with me, she was frightened because I looked so ill and was in so much pain. Still alive though. But I won't be going back to that particular Salsa's again.
Cane on Boxing Day, staff had turned lights off and server was sitting on back bench on his phone, this was 4pm they forgot to make the food even though my brother and I were the only people to order, the food was incorrect and burritos are wet, honestly not even worth the money that was spent,
Never had a a bad bite. Food is always fresh and delicious. Staff are accommodating and friendly too.
To call Salsas Mexican "food" is an insult not only to Mexican cuisine but the entire nation itself. This food is so laughably bland it makes porridge with water look like a spicy Tika Masala. Disgusting.
The service I got was absolutely appalling. A guy with long hair tied back treated me like I was a nuisance to him. I asked for a Mex beef bowl and rudely got ask if that was all. As that was not all to my order I then continued my order and as I’m quite new to Salsa’s I asked if they did meals and without looking at me with quite a tone said yes. Then proceeded to ask for what drink and without asking if I wanted regular or large just got the drink and placed it down in front of me. I finish my order and he didn’t even repeat it back to make sure that he got everything I asked for.
After that rude service I then got my meal which was even more disappointing. The chips are always great but my bowl was flavourless and I got more lettuce and rice than meat.
I had a Veggie burrito bowl at this store and I ordered extra rice but doesn't look like that they gave any extra rice and also it was uncooked. The lady named Mogen, she was taking order and she dont know how to serve the customer. It was such a bad experience at all.
Just ordered a baja steak burrito takeaway and got something completely different very disappointing. Basically got bolognese and rice. 2nd time in a row they have got my order wrong.
It was Okay. Our room was nice and staff were nice enough. No lifts to rooms on upper floor. 2 pools, 1 was tiny which wasn't worth using, the other was a reasonable size but not enough sun beds for guests using the pool. Pool bar but not swim up bar. The restaurant out front was nice, breakfast was a let down, no bacon and a smaller range of food then other hotels. For the price I guess it matched the quality but we wouldn't stay again.
