Salisbury RSL Sub Branch reviews
18Love the RSL. Friendly, local. Good for a beer and a laugh, nice atmosphere, shame they don't have the kitchen open for meals anymore.
Very nice place
Every time I visit i have a few games of 8ball
Cheapest place i have ever played 8ball aswell
$1 per game for 1 of there tables or $3 unlimited pool on other table
An important place for exservicemen and women to socialise and be with like minded people. It's a comfortable place to spend your time without being judged just because you served your country.
Nice friendly welcoming atmosphere. Bingo was an enjoyable fun happy couple of hours. The RSL is clean neat with plenty of interesting memorabilia lovely branch! So if your looking for some enjoyable fun entertainment Bingo is on Saturday's. Eyes down from 12 to 2.30. Doesn't cost a fortune to play! You can get yourself a nice toasted ham cheese sandwich and a piece of cake for $5 also other goodies with great friendly service. Tea and coffee is free but a little donation every now and then goes a long way Welcoming new players after Christmas break returning on the 15th January 2022 Hope to see some newbies!
Good place to go and play eight ball and chatch up with people and get a drink or go bet or go on the pockies
YOUR FOOD MADE ME VOMIT MY GUTS INTO THE GUTTER! I don't really know if I was the one beer I drank or the slop you call food but I have never been so sick in my life! Just came home from the E. D. I would rather have covid than do that again!

Well worth a visit. Memorabilia from army, air force and navy is brilliant and staff are friendly and obliging.
Diners will need to check if meals are available before you plan to visit.
Excellent drink prices of course and a great space for gatherings, meetings and social/community groups.
Highly recommended. Enjoy.

Great people, Friday night meals are back, great place to catch with friends have a drink play the pokies
I have been to a lot of RSL's in Australia being a retired veteran and I found Salisbury RSL the worst. I went there ANZAC day 2021 with my family for the first time in about 10 years and found the vibe really low and not even welcoming. I ended up staying for a drink and left to find a better place with more atmosphere. I'm 45 years old and I was the youngest there.
I think the RSL needs a total facelift, and in addition, a collaboration between the older and younger generations to create a sustainable vision for veterans to be at in the future. The RSL has a lot of potential being in a big suburb like Salisbury.
I love this place. The staff are amazing. I'll be sure to get back. What a great day to pay respect!
The RSL was great. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The drinks are cold and refreshing.
They are friendly helpful and help not only members of the forces but also the elderly war widows Legacy
Sad to hear of a venue in decline yet here is a forgotten gem that needs frequenting to help back on track.remember. " Beer at 1970 prices. "
A good RSL, Great range of memorabilia, within the club, friendly bar staff, good priced drinks & have meals.
RSL Salisbury has recently employed a chef and reopened the dining area. Meals are not available every day but on the days that they are they are available for lunch and dinner. Menu is not vast but it does cater for most diet options. Dinner portions are quite substancial and you will not be wanting for more. We visited on a Friday evening and at 6pm the ode was read with a minute silence. The club also had a meat tray raffle as well as a couple of other raffles which were drawn after the ode was finished. A good place to meet friends, have a drink or two and a well priced meal. Definitely a place to check out.
