Abhishek and Craig are the best trainers to learn from. But management is the worst I’ve ever came across in my entire life. Charged me money for the course I’ve never studied. All they care about is money!

The college is great when it comes to accommodating students’ educational needs. Genuinely nurtures academic and professional growth for all students especially for internal students. Been studying Commercial Cooker Cert IV since last year and I can genuinely say that I’ve made the right choice in enrolling at Salford College.

It is very overwhelming of having the chance and opportunity to study in a school that will surely contribute a good life in each students future and that will make us more knowledgeable. Chefs, assessors, students and all staff are very welcoming, Salford College is fun and wonderful, you won't feel left behind!

The worst place to study, a entire nightmare, they don't care about the students, all what they carw about is how much money they can take of the students.
Installations are dirty and old.
Teachers do not have proper ethics, management do not care about anything.
Have tried to approach them so many times to solve my problems with them and the injustified charges and they have never gave me a proper answer.
I would never refer or recommend this place to anyone.
Such a disappointment.

The staff here are amazing. Cain an Matt Pritchard were my trainers an Kelly, (Cain's wife) also works/teaches/trains students among a lot of other dedicated caring employees. Since starting here I've gained employment that I really enjoy an am now furthering my skills and exploring learning things I wouldn't have otherwise. If hospitality is what your interested in then contact Salford college, they're all very experienced an knowledgeable, my trainer an his wife owned their own cafe now they're passing knowledge down, lovely place, great learning tools at your hands an outside external help anytime. Can't say enough about this place besides it's the only place I've met so many people that are so kind helpful an WILL get you into work if you want it!
Thanks Salford- you guys are the best.

Hi have a staff member who joined with you over 7 months ago for a certificate 3 in hospitality traineeship and unfortunately after numerous emails and calls. Nothing very disappointed with this College, she could have completed half of her work by now! Regards Bev

I was called for what sounded like an interview for a baking/patisserie apprenteship. Turned out it was just to meet and get to know my background and goals prior to deciding of he wanted to put me forward for any baking/patisserie interviews. He was likely a recruiter of sorts, finding candidates for businesses.
By the end of the meeting he seemed so excited to put me forward for an interview with 2x bakeries and said he would call within coming weeks (I think he said 2x weeks).
It was after 2x weeks that he called to check in and assure he is still eager to put me forward. Then.nothing. 1 or 2 weeks later I left 2x voicemails within a week and no response. I called the Salford office and he again assured he was going to put me forward for interviews.but then after each chat it was like he left the face of the earth again. I actually never hear back from him again and this was months ago now.
I was very eager to make the career move, though as far as I can tell was repeatedly lied to that he would put me forward for interviews (didn't hear a peep regarding if he ever did) and not once did he call me in the time frame he said he would. It was an absolute waste of my time, poor client service and I would not reccomend anyone apply.

Salford college has provided the great extent of knowledge with both practical and theoretical learning skills and experience. I have completed my Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery, and Diploma of Hospitality Management. The experience with the trainer Chef Craig, Abeshak and Andrey are very friendly and cooperative. They have hips of experience to share with students. Finally, I'm happy with the education and course curriculum the college provides. I am very proud to be a student of Salford College.

- They gave me my enrollment and asked me to start in March according to the offer letter. When I attended my first day, it happened that they had already advanced a month and did not send me the proper notification of the date of entry. Even so, my assessments were marked as unsatisfactory for that unit with which I did start.

- The teacher abuses his power to humiliate the students and is consistently condescending and dismissive.and is a behaviour I’ve seen in other classes as well.not all of them but 4 of the teachers I've met, have this issue and they unrespectful. Salford colleague is not choosing the right people with skills to teach others.

- I was sick at covid times due to having failed to attend some days of class. The college manager told me that even if I present medical certificates to prove my absence for legitimate reasons, they will continue to charge me $ 100 for each class I miss and $ 170 for each practice I have missed. The information about extra charges was never mentioned at the beginning of the course in any form of communication.

- Several times, I have seen the teacher mark my name as absent on the list even though I have attended. Now I have around 50% missed class for this reason. He would use pretexts like; you went for too long to the toilet, you didn't ask me for going outside class for a moment, you are distracted in class.

- I have completed all my assessments, but they have marked me as unsatisfactory. It was because they never received the work, but it was finished and sent to them, and I have the records to prove that. When I confronted the teacher about it and ask him to open up the platform in front of me to show me it wasn't there, we could both see my assessments and answers, but he continued to tell me I still hadn't submitted my work

- All students were given three opportunities to present the assessments within three weeks, and I was given only one attempt and one week.

The learning experience with Salford college has provided the great extent of knowledge with both practical and theoretical learning skills and experience. The knowledge acquired by the students will help them to develop their skills in the real world. Moreover, I have completed my Cert -3, the experience with the faculty are very friendly and understanding especially Abhi & Craig with great knowledge and skills. Finally, I'm happy with the education and course curriculum the college provides.

It was an awesome journey at Salford College. Their training materials are really good comparing to other colleges; Chef Abhishek is one of the best trainers you could come across in your life. The management could have done better; no complaints. I would definitely suggest Salford College for Hospitality Courses.

Excellent for anyone who loves to cook and wants to move out of the home style cooking and into industry quality standards with experience to match. Learning new skills and further knowledge. This has helped me have more confidence for my small business and little family. Thanks

Great facilities and excellent staff. The staff ensures that the students develop a good understanding of the topics. The student support is also fantastic. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking to study in the vocational sector.

This school has been a joke since the first day I walked in.
When I started, everything was very confusing: about 20 people coming at whatever time and minding their own business, not listening and disturbing, but the teacher did not say a word. People who I have barely seen, had 100% of attendance on the book, but me, and other people who were present every lesson, I had 70% only. When we asked why, she answered that it was none of our business.
In six months, I have never been assigned an assessment or a in-class test to see my progress.
When Covid-19 struck the country, we had to move to online lessons and then is when I gave up. I didn't have any internet connection at home, so I had to drive for about 40 minutes each way, to reach my gf's home and use hers (who was situated in a suburb where internet is very poor). Attending online lessons was a fight against the other classmates and, the winners were the first three to connect since the teacher's "Microsoft Teams", could host a maximum of three students at a time, so if you were not on the podium, forget the lessons.
Towards the end of the course, we were allowed to go back to class and just then, I was told that, if I did not have the internet connection, I could have gone to use the school one. Thank you for letting me know in such a perfect time frame hey! When we got back to face to face classes, the teacher was explaining about the final test and she was indicating to everyone what time to come etc, when, suddenly, she turned to me saying: "you're not having the final test, you still need to do two extra weeks". Now, I know that I was not ready to pass it, but two extra weeks wouldn't have changed the results! I have an elementary English level and I was assigned to a upper-intermediate class for reasons to me unknown. I had a chat with a male teacher who, I guess, was one of the supervisors and, when I made him notice how bad my English was and I asked why I was assigned to that class, he answered that he didn't know because he was not my teacher. He tried to convince me to attend the 2 extra free weeks and I told him that they would have been useless, because, if I could not learn in six months, how could I have learnt in two weeks? ! Then he told me that it was possible to be put in a general English classes. So, apparently this is the only school where you recede instead of progress!
I tried, I put lots of effort into it at first, but when I saw the teacher not interested at all, the topics too complicated to me and no feedback or a minimum support, I got tired and so downhearted that I started to neglect school. After paying thousands of dollars, I ended up learning nothing and my English level is the same as it was before.
In the end I did not do the two free weeks, and, after making them notice how ridiculous they were, they allowed me to take the final (I guess), test. I was supposed to have 90 minutes (as anyone else), but the teacher was coming to disturb me every now and then, to ask if I had done! I have never received my test results, so I have no idea how I did. Guys, get informed before spending the money that you earned working hard!

Complete thieves in college. I applied for admission in one of courses but they couldn’t generate the Coe, so I applied for refund. But they deduct $350 saying application/enrollment fee which they didn’t made. And my application was done by my agent. When I go to college they even threatened me that we say that we don’t know you and go ask your agent for money like if we want we don’t even pay you a penny.
