I love shopping here the meat is beautiful & fresh as well as the vegetables & has a wonderful array of spices & groceries & the bread is mouthwateringly fragrant & delicious, the prices are extremely good & the service second to none. This has become my main shopping place for most of everything I need. Thanks guys for a great shopping experience

Staff should be trained to make sure people come forward when they get asked to and not jump the queue!

Just don't ask the butcher is the meat fresh as it's sold before it's displayed

Be careful buying chicken from this place. I have recently purchased kgs of chicken that is very disgusting to look at and had rotten smell as well. Very disappointing. This was supposed to be a chicken breast. Lord knows what they've sold me.

Over the period of time we have experienced great customer service from all the staff which has improved continually. Keep it up bros!

I love the Salam Supermarket. I drive from the other side of Adelaide once every couple of weeks to stock up. The quality of their meat is amazing. I was a chef for many years and I’ve rarely come across a butcher with fresher meat. Their lamb is excellent and very sharply priced. Loin chops for $14! Good ones. Great beef cuts too, steaks, ribs. Excellent chicken and fresh offal. It’s one of the few places you can find quality goat meat for curry. The vegetable selection is modest, but well priced and you will find an astonishing array of spices, legumes, rices, sauces and other exotic wonders. The flat bread selection is exceptional. The staff are always friendly and up for a chat. It’s well worth a stop, you won’t be disappointed.

First time shopping here and was impressed with the quality, prices and service. The man gave my young son a free little treat on our way out and i thought that was such a kind gesture. Will definitely be shopping here more regularly now

They have a range of middle eastern, South Asian spices and all staff are friendly and welcoming!

You guy are a joke! Be wary when buying cut meats. They will give u more than what u asked for and then quickly clear the scale once you notice it. Principal of the matter not just sales and a bloody waste of time and disrespectful to the highest degree! Order and if you disagree with weight simply dump it on the shelves for them to clear after!

Meat super fresh and clean. Great service. Dropped my drink and before I knew what to do they were out with a broom and mop and even gave me a free drink.

Undoubtedly the best afghan grocery shop in Aselaide. The staff so friendly and always smiling. Very helping attitude all the time. Very clean nice and tidy shop. Most of the time someone is working in the shop non-stop doing some cleaning and rotating products. I absolutely love coming to this place. Keep up the good work guys. Well done!

A hidden gem. I rarely go to other Middle Eastern grocers since finding this place.

Their service is absolutely top notch, even to a white boy kufar like me.

This place has a modest range of good quality products at competitive prices - either cheaper than other Middle Eastern grocers, or around the same prices. Don't expect to find ten or twenty different brands of the same items. They tend to stock a couple of different brands of an item, sometimes a handful, but that's enough for me.

They sell fresh produce and herbs, fresh bread, frozen and refrigerated goods, and they have an on-site halal butcher. As for the rest of the shop, it's a modest range of typical things you'll find in Middle Eastern grocers at a good price. The herbs are *much* cheaper (and fresher) than you'll find in the supermarket. The fresh kofta mince is excellent and cheap. Same for the yoghurt and the bread. They stock bone-in goat meat for authentic curry. You can also find good charcoal here at a decent price for your kofta too.

They seem to get their fresh produce in daily and they prepare roughly enough meat to cover the day's trade so keep in mind that their stock tends to run low at the end of the day. But this means that their stock is always fresh which is a bonus (and a big point of difference to supermarkets.)

My only complaint is that it took me too long to discover this place.

Excellent customer service, good quality afghan/indian/pakistani/bangladeshi groceries and halal meat available here. Price is also reasonable compared to the quality of the food.
