SA Base Camp / The Ninja Arena reviews
59It's great for children to blow off a little steam. 2 hours of high energy fun and very reasonably priced. It can be cold for adults, sitting around, take a warm jacket.
Great venue and facilities. Went for a kid's birthday party, and all the kids loved it. Coffee was good, and whichnis a bonus for an adult waiting around while the kids played. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Awesome workout space with plenty of obstacles for you to try out too to include in your fitness program
I wasn't impressed. I thought after all this time things would be sorted out there. We walked in and couldn't work out where to go let alone find a staff member to help. The flies were absolutely terrible. There was only a small portion of the equipment up and running.
This place is mostly setup to entertain kids. Went there with a group of friends and there are kids everywhere. The kid and adult courses are separate which was good but stray kids would come across and almost get bowled over by a flying adult.
Besides the warped wall, all of the other obstacles on the adult course require upper body strength and coordination. Nothing like the TV show where you see balancing or hopping across platforms.
Kids loved it! Great place for a birthdayparty and to let the kids burn off some steam! Food, cake and drinks all supplied in the package! We have some very tired children now
My daughter had a friends birthday here and they had a blast. Lots to do and definitely wore the kids out. The workers took the kids for some structured games and they loved it
We had a Birthday Party booked for a 2 hour session (paid extra money). The party started out ok, the kids were briefed before going on the equipment.:)
There was no one person in-charged of the party, (there were two) and they didn't communicate as we were asked by each of them when we wanted to do the cake etc.
It came to about the 1 and half hour mark, and were hurried up vacate the table and to finish as they needed to prepare the table for the next party, even though we had booked the table for 2 hours.
Supervision of children was lacking as kids were using the equipment in the wrong way, but no staff corrected them.
Injuries were sustained which could have been prevented if our party host was supervising, (which was part of the package).
Good place, great staff who are amazing with the kids. They are about to move so hopefully the next place might have a climbing wall
Although full of children this is a playground for adults. Only takes one bloke to attempt an obstacle and the others soon follow. All good fun.
Obstacle course is too high and a bit too difficult for my 5 year old and my 8 year old. It would benefit from having different grading of difficulty so kids of all ages can participate.
Young guy behind the cafe was extremely rude and coffee took over 30 minutes to arrive. Bit disappointing.
I visited with my 2 kids a few weeks ago and had a fantastic time.
The staff were helpful in demonstrating how to use the equipment and encouraging to my children new things. Will def visit again
My 7 and 10 year old boys love their weekly ninja class! Great staff, with excellent skills, and amazing coffee! Would recommend to anyone thinking of doing this type of sport!
Great place for work out for the kids, super friendly staff and coaches are well connected with the kids always
An excellent place to enjoy yourself, exercise, or bring the kids for some fun. Plenty of space and there's a Cafe here too.
Ninja was a bit misleading, not a Shuriken, or a Katana in sight.
Prolly a good thing, because the kids loved it, and didn't cause any grevious bodily harm.
6 out of 5 bananas
Nice excercise equipment and good value for money but very poor facilities. The whole place looks very temporary, just bare concrete, very rough and Spartan. The less said about the "cafeteria" the better. Pretty good stuff.
Better value for money than Bounce or Latitude but not as nice.
Practically our whole family comes here, all the kids have an absolute ball and we struggle to get them out of here every time we come.
Extremely family friendly.
Fantastic. We had a birthday party on Sunday. Great venue, great staff, friendly and helpful and all the kids loved it
