Rustic Gourmet reviews
18The friendly approach and politeness was 10/10. If only more people were so helpful & hospitable. I was starving I only ducked in for a pie but selected the savoury scone. Vvveryyy yummy.
16$ for a bacon egg roll.
And it was pretty average comparatively. Not bad but not worth 16$
16$ to 20$ most people would expect a full breakfast plate for that price. Toast eggs beans shrooms bacon ect.
Almost all cafes spread across adelaide and barossa charge around 10$ to 12$ max for a bacon egg roll on average.
Coming from a tradie who gets a BnE rolls for the site workers every 2nd day
20$ should be able to get you a large coffee and a BnE roll.
Also cream cheese? A bit cheap tbh. If its gourmet artesianal prices. Why not use some real cheese melted over a lightly toasted bun like most more reasonably priced cafes.
Not terrible but some constructive critisism. 10$ BnE rolls with a sign out front would boost business and incite return customers of the tradesman variety.
I went there 2 times.
The staff is so nice and the cakes home made are so yummy. I will definitely go back there.
Thanks
Just finished my Friday morning ritual coffee.
Thank you so much for an amazing brew, and always such lovely food and service too:)
Very good food and very good coffee.the staff here are lovely and the cafe emits a very positive energy.
Rustic Gourmet offers a delightful range of cakes and savoury items with great coffee. Well worth a visit, though there isn't much indoor seating available so you may want to consider takeaway.
Always a joy to be ar Rustic gormet. Busy happy great coffee and a real place to be with staff and clients sharing a common delight. Thankyou staff well done.
This is one of Adelaide's gems! Amazing food, both to eat in and take away; great coffee and wonderful, friendly and helpful staff 6 stars.
I'm not sure how they do it, but the Chicken toasty thing has.flavours that are out of this world - a good, tight team, friendly service and great coffee.
This is one of Adelaide's gems! Amazing food, both to eat in and take away; great coffee and wonderful, friendly and helpful staff 6 stars.
Solid coffees, excellent sourdough for sale, and sensational food. The house fruit loaf and GF orange almond cake are absolutely fantastic! Also lovely staff:)
Amazing savory, sweets & coffee and we're always taken care of by really lovely folks. One of our favorite spots. Thank u Rustic Gourmet!
What a lovely quaint and homely cafe. There isn't alot of seating but this is a lovely thing as it adds to the intimate and friendly vibe. It's the kind of place that makes you feel special and not like just another customer. The coffee is remarkable. The food was delicious and presented is a way that was Instagram worthy. Well and truly underpriced for the quality and value. They were so accommodating of our dietary requirements which is often a struggle at cafes for us, and accommodating of our time constraints due to our poor time management. I could not recommended this cafe more if I tried and will be back!
Thank you team, for the lovely experience.
What a wonderful little cafe. Friendly service and great coffee. A few tables inside to share, and a couple of spots outside as well on busy Greenhill Road. The only hassle with this cafe is its location on the busy road, and lack of easy parking. There is a spot over the road, but takes some effort to get there. But I can say that it is worth it.
Great food, friendly service and good people. Only failing is small amount of tables, though there's usually somewhere free.
Amazing savory, sweets & coffee and always taken care of by really lovely folks.one of are favorite spots. Thank u Rustic Gourmet!
I had a very disappointing experience with the catering side of Rustic Gourmet (I have been there previously for breakfast and loved the food). I rang periodically across the day to preorder salads for 22 people for a pre-wedding family dinner in a week and a half’s time. Firstly the phone rang out (I tried five times that day). I ended up emailing and then did receive a phone call in the evening with an apology that work was being undertaken on site and they were closed for the day. That’s all fine but a message on the phone saying why they couldn’t answer or a diversion to another number or something on the internet stating this would have made for good customer relations. I did receive an immediate email after the phone call confirming 2x12 pax gluten free salads and two loaves of bread to pick up at 3.30pm on the day of the pre-wedding dinner. My daughter went at 3.30pm to pick up our order and they knew nothing about it. It transpired that the order had been incorrectly put in the order book for the next day. While apologetic, it meant that we did not get what we had asked for. They only had one gluten free salad. I rang them about it when my daughter got home. The person who had taken my order over the phone was not there. The person who was there did say we could get a non-gluten free salad instead to make it two salads but that didn’t help solve my problem as I needed gluten free. It was a disappointing catering experience and there was no further follow up from the business owner who’d taken my order. I won’t be using Rustic Gourmet for catering again because of this.
