Looking for a bite in Kent Town? Look no further. Rustic Gourmet serves delicious wholesome meals and probably the best coffee I’ve had out in a long time.
The frittata was more than filling when served with a generous amount of salads.
The orange and almond cake was fresh, tarty and delicious.
Located east of the CBD you’ll find parking on street. They are open until 2pm on Saturday.
Plenty of inside seating, not cramped. Some outside seating too.
Bathrooms were clean and modern.

Always a delicious breakfast and great coffee. Friendly staff make you feel welcome especially Kath and Chris.

I used Rustic Gourmet to cater an opening at work. I was incredibly impressed. The food was was brilliant and reasonably priced. The customer service I received from Kath was a complete stand out. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great cafe spot, would have liked to go more often before leaving Adelaide. Delicious sourdough toast, poached eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms. The freshly made juices are excellent. Nice friendly staff.

We love this place. The food is gorgeous - every time we come. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is gentle, unpretentious, clean, warm, lovely. We’ve been coming for awhile & we are yet to be disappointed. Try it out - it’s a wonderful experience.

Went for lunch on Saturday with my elderly mother for lunch. We received wonderful service from all staff, very attentive and sooo friendly. As always the food and choices were great. Been here quite a few times and we have never been disappointed with the service or food.

If you are after real food cooked with love, if you love Yottam Ottolenghi, and if you want to support an amazing local business then this is the place for you!

Good coffee and tasty treats. Courteous and efficient staff, prompt service. The cafe is a pleasant light filled space, but can be noisy. While I live for efficiency and reducing waste, I’m just not a fan of the recycled plastic cups, my coffee quickly went cold.

Great food and service. We came at 9am on a weekend and were able to get a table pretty easily. About 10am the crowds hit and lines were out the door! So go early!

Awesome cafe tucked in one of the side streets within Kent Town. When we went, it was quite busy due to COVID-19 restrictions reducing the overall number of tables, so maybe don't expect a seat right away.

Had a mushroom-based dish scattered with hazelnuts and bursting with flavour. The portions were so large, we both were unable to finish our dishes - absolutely delicious though!

Acoustics: 2 stars. They couldn't do much worse with the acoustic design of this place: a large glass frontage, polished concrete floor, even a tiled serving counter. There is almost nothing in side this place which absorbs noise. Needless to say, once there were a few people in there, everyone has to raise their voice to be heard over everyone raising their voices.
However, if you can get a table outside, it is much better acoustics, and even inside was nice while the crowd was smaller.

The coffee is quite good, and the food I ate was nice. For some reason Huevos Rancheros were called Huevos Ranchos, and they were over-priced.

Busy place that has gained popularity due to location in Kent Town, reasonable prices coupled with usual cafe menu items and convenient trading hours. It surprises me how the competition nearby closes early, but that means more business for Rustic Gourmet. If you have large parties, call ahead to make a reservation. Others have commented on the good bread they sell along with ready packaged takeaway items that you just microwave when you get home. Convenient.

All the staff are friendly, the coffee is hot & not burnt which is hard to find, and the food is very tasty. Great place.

Nice clean place with good seating and good food which i believe is all sourced from South Australia. Easy to get a park and they were accommodating as we had a pram

Food and coffee is always great! One hour parking is always available out the front. A very busy and popular place especially at breakfast and lunch time. Delicious cakes to choose from. Take away options available too.

Looking for a car park for a dental appointment close by and with a bit of time up my sleeve I came accross this nice little gem of a cafe/ coffee shop with good coffee and food and pleasant staff. Just Norwood side of Dequeterville Terrace in Kent Town and well worth seeking out for a visit.

Kath has so much passion for her service and food and i love to drop by from time to time to grab a healthy lunch to go or a late breakfast.coffee is a winner and their catering for many people i know is an absolute winner! Highly recommend

Really I must say from the moment I walked in the door a warm relaxing atmosphere friendly staff great coffee excellent food would recommend to anyone looking for a moment to relax and unwind 10/10
