Rustic Country Cafe

The food was very good but very OVER priced. I ordered 2 Serves of fish chips and salad. What I got was 2 piece's of fish and a handful of chips all in one box. I paid $24.00. I thought I was paying for 2 boxes with Salad. We are regulars in town so probably won’t be back.

We had the Pad Thai and Laksa takeaway, they were both great, it was nice inside, service was friendly, quick and helpful. If you get takeaway, eating along the river just a short stroll away is lovely

I ordered the dim sim and green curry with chicken and can hands down say that those where some of the best dim sim I have eaten. I will definitely be going there again to fill that craving!
And the Green curry was beautiful, perfect amount of flavour and spice

I highly recommend this place

Food tasted delicious, the only thing I’d say was food (rice) was a little on the dry side,

Pizza was good for its size, as well as kids meal was excellent (thumbs up from our kids), both fairly priced

Would eat here again!

Great Hamburger & Perfect Chips, Owner even told me how he cooked my Perfect Burger 10/10

New owners are running an Asian take away. Pad Thai with chicken had barely any chicken, no egg, long wait time and was average. I can do better at home. Previous owners ran it well and served excellent food.

I'm editing my review as the Cafe has changed owners, Now no longer a Cafe more a Asian noodle type arrangement, I'm editing as I don't want to have people read a rave review and find when they go there, it's.well different.if your gluten intolerant or coeliac maybe not for you.try it otherwise.

The best. B. E. S. T.steak sandwich and burgers you'll get around.steak sliced in house off a whole fillet and cooked to perfection.crumbed fish is soooo good, and their battered fish and chips.is just the ducks guts.if your in town.do yourself a favour.for those who like a Big burger.try it

We stopped in there for dinner at the end of a week of a travelling holiday, and was the best meal we had for the whole week that we was away, the food was delicious!

Absolutely amazing food and service the burgers were huge, pizza was amazing ordered the fish and chips and was huge for the price, cute little cafe kid friendly and a huge amount of gluten free highly recommended

Staff a bit abrupt. Visited on house boat with 11 people thought they would be happy for the trade. When ordering did not have a lot of the things we wanted. Having said that the food we did have was nice and the girls serving were eventually friendly. We were also very please that all the food and coffees came out reasonably together. Over all would recommend a visit for a meal. (It was Sunday).

Wow, at $15.00 for a full big breakfast and i do mean big, it is fantastic value for money and the mugs of coffe are huge, the ladies working there are fantastic and it was a pleasure eating there.

Food is good but is let down by general attitude of staff. Staff can be argumentative and defensive when you just request something a little different. Also not serving certain food at certain times is very silly. It's all there in the shop so you shouldn't have to wait until precisely lunch time before you're /allowed/ to get a hotdog or burger. It's unnecessarily controlling and weird. Also there is this thing called brunch, which is a little window of time between 10 and 12 where you can have either breakfast or light lunch food.
