8Have been searching around the northern suburbs for the best chips and gravy for a while and when I say that Ruby’s went above my expectation, I absolutely mean it! The gravy was to die for and the chips were cooked to perfection! Service was also delightful and I will not go anywhere else from now on! Could not recommend anywhere else now! Definitely top of my list for sure! Will 100% be back!

I first thought the elderly lady was ok, I was talking to her when in the shop, firstly I watch her preparing the fish, no washing hands when placing the fish in flour. Then batter I just thought that the tongs were there or gloves, there there was no worries, until I ask if it was possible to just put a hand full of chips and the piece of fish in half of the paper and the other half put the rest of the chips because there was plenty of chips my thoughts were that I would give them to two boys in the shop. But I waited until they had both ordered to do the the right thing to the shop keeper, but the lady was annoyed with me, she said. I WISH YOU HAD TOLD ME BEFORE SAID the woman. I did apologies and her comment was again I wish you told me before
So thr the first and last visit spent 15.50 I didn't mind but rather than throw them in the bin I thought I would not want to waiste them
Probably the best chips and gravy in the area! Gravy is the best I have ever tasted and doesn’t taste watery like some shops. The owner is very lovely and takes great pride with her food and ensures each customer is attended to, the food was hot and delicious, very glad to have found this gem!
I love Ruby's Fish and Chips! Service is always with a smile and food is above average for such a venue. The chips are always just right. I suspect this is a case of experience really showing through.
The whole family is always welcome, which is really nice.

Couldn’t have imagined better potato fritters I’m pretty sure she makes herself AMAZING! Even the chips n gravy is the best. Absolute hidden gem!
