Royal Oak - SA reviews
76A brilliant eclectic pub with a quirky yet delicious menu. Call out to the friendly welcoming staff Dan and Julie-anne for going above and beyond to make our evening special.
I ordered the crumbed lamb cutlet with pistachios and basil pesto and a side of chips which definitely did not disappoint. I was amazed by the quality and freshness and rhe chips were truely the best I’ve ever had. The staff were also very sweet and attentive and the atmosphere was really nice. Definitely would recommend!
Had a small function on a Friday night. Nick and the crew on the night were amazing and accomodating. Was easy planning it with Dan during the weeks leading up. Would recommend and will be back!
Clean! Ambience was great and even greater staff! Worth the time, worth the money! I had the medium rare sirloin and I regretted NOTHING! 5 stars all the way!
Tonights dinner was an absolute disaster! Waited over an hour 30 minutes to get food that all came out at different times.the kids food came out 2nd to last and mine came out last when everyone had finished there food.it was very clear the staff had no idea what was going on.the tables were too close together so I could hardly move and lastly, the food was below average and mine came out in a takeaway container so i just walked out and ate my food in the car because I had enough.
Lucas the bartender was super dooper efficient and friendly. The band Fun times was awesome, bring them back, so much talent and fantastic song choice
A good pub to visit in North Adelaide
Friendly and lively atmosphere with a great selection of products
Chicken snity, chips, slaw with Diane gravy & I had Zuccini & eggplant stack, slaw salad & the best chips I've ever had was to die for, very friendly team, quirky local hotel
Food is amazing and the staff all work so hard and are always super friendly. Definitely an under appreciated venue
Royal Oak is the best venue in Adelaide to have a few pints of Guinness. Go and visit Joshua who is unprententiosly passionate and highly skilled at his craft. The atmosphere is funky and completely chilled. I visited from Sydney and will always come back here when in SA. Sláinte!
Great meals, friendly staff. Eclectic mix of tables and chairs but comfortable and reasonable value. Will revisit
Had the best time here with great food. The staff especially pimlott, she was so sweet to us and took good care of us. Thank you:)
Was a really nice atmosphere but unfortunately the food was subpar. My chicken schnitzel was burnt and very dry & tough. And the chips were soggy and flavourless. I'd come back for a drink maybe but probably not the food
A really good 'ol pub with a great outdoor area to sink some beers. Menu is great and delicious and the staff are very friendly. Keep it up.
We came here a couple of times for lunch and a few cold ales. Very charming place with your typical pub grub menu at reasonable prices.

Have loved coming to this pub over the years, came in after the Australia England one day game and 1 female staff member was very rude. Have been back since and it's all been good. Came in tonight and the same female staff member was on, terrible rude service. Actually thinking of not coming again.
This is actually my first bad review, the girls at the bar must have had a bad day, after being over charged on my card when I tapped they couldn't have been more unhelpful in trying to fix up the drink order.
Their attitude is what the problem was, so we went down the road had a delicious meal at another pub where the staff were great.
I can't believe how bad the service is at this place. The staff don't care, it's written all over there faces. They just look at you as saying oh well get over it.
It all started when ordering our meals. They have seemed to not have ordered enough food for their kitchen. If you are looking for a schnitzel you need to order ahead of time because you may not get one. Dinners come out randomly so the first person finishes as the last person starts. "Annoying". Our meals were cold, lost 3 dinner's and a pint of Guinness. Finally we asked for our lost drinks and food to find that they had gone on a break. "Really! "
What happened to this place.
Great venue with quirky interior great for relaxed afternoon or evening drinks. Food menu looks good too
