Royal Copenhagen Semaphore reviews
68At the time that I went, it was very busy, lined up outside the door, but the staff worked very well under pressure, and were still very pleasant and professional. They also kept the line moving fairly quickly at the same time
Been a long time since I had ice cream from Copehagen and haven’t been disappointed. The scoop sizing was indulging, maybe for me, next time I’ll get the kiddie’s scoop. Refreshing flavours, true to description and yes, the Copenhagen waffle.
A treat for anybody
They are broad daylight thugs. I wanted 3 scoops of different icecreams in a cup. A girl offered if I wanted in a cup or two. Without knowing her intention, I said to put in 2 cups. When I paid, they charged me $5 for just a paper cup which was not even worth 10 cents.
Rude staff rostered on the 31st Jan 2022 at 3.30pm.
Paid for a baby cone that "comes with a bib". Got no bib. Pathetic.
Icecream melted 2 mins after walking out door. Even on a hot day, better gelato/icecream joints don't make product that has such a quick melt point.
Right on semaphore Rd and closer to to the beach end this place is well located, they have a range of ice creams and sorbets, they offer waffle cones either dipped in chocolate or plain, the staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate, the negetives are that it is usually very busy sometimes with a line down the street however they do move the people through fairly quickly being icecream, and the cost it is not cheap but us a very nice treat for the family and the fact you can take your icecream or sorbet and paruze the surrounding shops and general hustle bustle of semaphore Rd or strol down to the beach and go along the foreshore, beach or along the semaphore jetty
The best ice-cream shop in Adelaide. Always ask to have toppings on your ice-cream, it doesn't cost any extra. You can also have your cone dipped in chocolate (no additional cost). I would highly recommend this ice-cream shop to any locals or visitors!
Omg so delicious. Had 2 heaped scoops in a cone. Peanut butter and caramel, along with Nutella. Both amazing and together, even better. Note. They will dip the top of the cone in chocolate if u want and also there are other toppings like fudge and sprinkles, which are all included free. Also, they cater for vegans with such flavours as chocolate olive oil. I didn't try it but my friend loved it.
Major props to the young staff working on a busy sunny Sunday. Amazing service to each and every customer even though the line was very long. Many flavours to choose from.
Staff were nice, and you also could try the tasty and choose what you want.
But just one scoop 6 dollars and so small
What a pity️
Staff are always so lovely and welcoming. By far the best in Adelaide. The manager has done such a wonderful job employing wonderful freindly staff.
Yesterday we got icecream and for the $40 we paid, i felt the servings were very stingy. The two kids cups were half full, my husbands single cone had the smallest scoop on it and my waffle also had a small scoop. It was quite nice however, we had this icecream from brighton end of town and the scoops were a good size. Its not like they were running out of icecream either. We choked at the price and i wished we had gone across the road to the golden north supplier.
Amazing service with very polite and friendly staff. Royal Copenhagen ice-creams are new obsession.
Delicious treat on warm day at the beach and staff are friendly and helpful while you over think your options
Great icecream generous sized scoops. Helpful staff. Offer free tasting. Short distance to Semaphore Jetty.
Extremely amazing ice cream, but talk about the amazing staff. A nice and friendly staff member approached us today with a big welcoming smile.
She was sweet and gave us many options for our ice creams. She wasn’t just kind to my family, she was bubbly to every other person who stepped in the shop.
Highly recommend!
Baileys with Scorched almonds plus Cappuccino plus Rum and Raisin is always my go to flavour from them!
Copenhagen can be considered the go-to dessert place in the semaphore area, and it being by the beach and open late, it definitely makes it easy to see why.
It’s our go-to for some exceptional donuts and a coffee, and their snack packs are good for what they are, although they could use more fruit.
They do good coffees and hot chocolate, waffles are some of the nicest, and eating in is quite nice.
Although this is an ice-cream place, they specialise in much more, and with that being said. I haven’t tried the Ice Cream, but considering how busy they get, I can tell you, it’s good.
This is a must try for an evening dessert and a nice place to go in both a nice summers evening and a cold winters night, they can cater to every occasion.
Great place for dessert pretty busy but worth it, their ice cream taste really nice! Staff are amazing too!
Best hot chocolate on the street! Not to mention the hot doughnuts are perfect for the colder months. The service is always super friendly as well!
Good spot for ice-cream and but wouldn't bother in summer, the line can be massive. The coffee/hot drinks are okay but can be inconsistent.
