Royal Adelaide Show reviews
15Entertainment never changes, literally been the same if not very similar performances for the many years I’ve been attending. Try supporting more local talent because there are some incredible artists in South Australia!
The Adelaide's annual event. Arts, performances, exhibitions, games, cuisine, funfair, animals, merchandise, and more are children's favorites.
Loved the events being held on the main arena, and also a few of the other (free) attractions available. The cost of entry, and the prices of the rides plus the food/drinks etc, was a bit too expensive for me. But overall, it was a great day.
It’s a fun day at the Adelaide Show, but crazy expensive (but you kinda expect that at the moment).
Parking can be a nightmare, so get there early’ish.
Personally I think the showbags are overrated, I like the rides and the greasy food!
Wonderful as usual. One thing I would like is more seating around the rides for us oldies to sit and watch grandkids on them.
To take a young person that is wheel chair assisted just to look and experience the show is a rip off!
Went with my partner, had a nice time
- Just being at the show is a fun experience in itself.
The highlight for me is trying lots of food and going on rides!
The rides were shut off early and most of the car parks were closed due to weather but that can’t be helped!
Since I was 4, the only thing I ever wanted for my birthday is to go to the Adelaide show, and now that I'm 70, I still enjoy going. Love the atmosphere. Since the pandemic, things are slowly getting back to normal. But I've always budgeted, still do.
Great place for family entertainment and fun, food, games and more. Event is on yearly. The only letdown is the cost of things.
Disgusting.the event should be ashamed charging families so much for tickets, food and rides.for a show that is about promoting our state and produce.
It’s amazing fair and it should be a wonderful place for family, kids or your partner to come here and enjoy the atmosphere at one of the best show during the year in South Australia. They require tickets to come but the price is affordable for everyone as the price has included some of free shows and exhibition to watch and enjoy. Highly recommend to come here and enjoy the show
I highly recommend the experience of visiting this place with a group of friends. Our outing was truly memorable, as we had the opportunity to indulge in a wide range of tastings, each one more delightful than the last. The added entertainment of dance shows and singer groups made the evening even more enjoyable, allowing us to savor delicious dishes while being entertained. And, of course, the car and motorcycle shows added an exciting touch to our adventure, ensuring we had a blast throughout our visit. It’s a perfect destination for a fun-filled outing with friends!
This place is quite far from home, so I was excited that I finally had the opportunity to dine here for lunch on a Sunday. We were very lucky that a table had just been vacated and was being cleaned, so we were seated immediately.
We had two different types of ramen, the grilled miso eggplant and the gyoza. Everything was delicious, and toppings on the ramen were generous in portion.
Unfortunately the place is quite expensive with lunch costing $50pp. I'd love to return but this will definitely be a "special occasion" spot in the future.
6 years ago great now its ripp off the price to walk is disappointing and over priced the wh9le thing is not worth your time or the waste of your uard earned money
