I have had two sessions with Cameron so far and it has been great. I haven’t had any issues with the reception, booking system etc. My psychologist has been good at listening (which is something I have failed to receive with another psychologist I have seen), things proceeded at a speed I’m happy with. My friend has been to another one and it took 6 sessions until that psychologist gave her a plan which I think just fishing for money. I’m happy I have found a psychologist that actually helped

My 17 year old son was seeing Kathy back in 2018 for over a year due to depression and anxiety. Unfortunately in all that time she was not able to diagnose that he actually had ADD as well. It was only after he started seeing another psychologist (at a different clinic) that he was actually diagnosed with it. Unfortunately from that time he still had to wait over a year to be able to see a Psychiatrist to be formally diagnosed and prescribed medication which has helped him immensely. I feel that when you have professionals with years of training and experience that they would be able to recognise that a person is struggling with something like this. I feel sad for my son that it took so long to be able to get him the help he needed.

Their website talks up all these wonderful services and people they can help and yet when I reached out half of what was on the website I was told they didn't offer. Considering my email was a cry for help and indicated how despite I was to get an email back to say, Oh sorry we can't help you with that was very disheartening.
I wish I had looked at external reviews first now.

Very bad psychologists / and they only care about making money!

You guys are in the wrong field!

It has seemed on several occasions that this clinic operates more-so like a money-making business and do not seem to care much about their clients. I am directly talking about the staff here, not the psychologists.

On a couple occasions, I have been unable to make it to my session (for reasons I'd hope a psychology clinic could be empathetic towards), and they have been quite rude and have shown a complete lack of empathy.they have charged $100 for an appointment that was booked months in advance and that was not confirmed.and when I suggested that I don't think it is fair to pay such a fee, I was told "then we will cancel the rest of your appointments". I wouldn't recommend this clinic, I paid $130 per 1 hour session (after healthcare cover) as a student and they're requesting more money from me.

My husband saw Carol Hunter at this psychology for MVA related symptom. Because it was CTP claim, they said they need to confirm with CTP and call us back. They confirmed with CTP and called us back to tell us we can make appointment. He saw Psycholgist Carol Hunter. He did not need to see her that often but they booked him twice a week to get more money from using his name from CTP insurance. After about 10 appointments, they called us saying CTP changed mind so they did not approve for psychologist service. And they said we have to pay for all the cost they made booking for crook business (by making lots of appointment twice a week) now they are calling my husband twice every day asking for money we never would owe if they did confirm with CTP properly. Even though CTP initially approved and changed mind later on, we were willing to pay with GP referral. So I told them we will pay the gap of $15 after Medicare cover (their website said its $15 gap after Medicare if referred by gp). They refused said we need to pay in full and get Medicare because they cannot deduct it straight away. And they said the fee is $160.from Then they changed website totally and deleted the words $15 and cost as well and on the website it says “call rose park psychology for cost enquiry). Obviously they changed website because of my husband. Today I called them and ask to cover by Medicare again they said now the fee is $270 and after Medicare cover the gap is $150. What the Hell!? So before they could not make us pay only gap and deduct bulk bill on the spot because that’s not working like that and now all of sudden, they can deduct the Medicare covered amount and deduct it so we can only pay for the gap? And NOW the gap became $150 instead of $15? So you can get normal rate $150 from us any way and also you can get another $120 from government Medicare? What a crook business. This guys keep changing words keep changing costs and will do anything to make money. They think we are stupid and they charge money they don’t look for patient wellbeing. They know my husband going through so much pain and stress they keep calling twice a day everyday for bills which keep changing. OMG. God save us from this CROOK!

I see Katherine Hunt and she is wonderful. She is warm and easy to speak with. She is very evidence based and gave me confidence in her approach from the get go

Refuse to see people on workcover as it doesn't pay as well and they might even have to write a report. Spoke to business owner who had zero empathy and was quite rude and condescending. Even implied that workcover was not likely to be a genuine illness. Laughed when I said that I may write a negative review

I have been a patient at Rose Park Psychology since 2018, and I highly recommend if you are seeking professional psychotherapy. Dr Rachel Gould is very experienced and personable, and staff are extremely helpful to book you in an appointment. From my experience, and positive outcomes from attendance at Rose Park Psychology, I give five stars for this practice.
