Rory's School Lunches

I ordered some delicious noodles for myself, because i had nothing else to eat,

and i opened the packed only to find THEY WERE COMPLETLY BURNT AND DISGUSTING, i had to actually choke them down like a baby bird, and now NONE of my friends want to talk to me because it was "disgusting ny. " sorry i meant, not nyre

LIKE COME ON DUDE! It takes more effort to burn them! And you know what, this isn't the first time its happened either! I will be suing

I wanted a scrumptious hot dog for myself, but instead I got a child at my doorstep! I threw him in the bin, but 4 some reason I think he is stalking me.

I ordered a roll. It had vegan cheese. I'm not even a vegan! After I ate half of it I found mold on the roll! For the next week I was home sick from food poisoning. I had to stay home from school for 5 weeks and I failed all my tests and got a 2.3 gpa.

I and my friend ordered some chicken burgers from here, they weren't flavoured and were ridiculously overpriced
but we were hungry

a few moments later and boom we both have food poisoning and we're both stuck on the toilet for days! Like actual days! We only had one by the way so it's super awkward
do you know how hard it is to share a single tiny toilet with two guys, its not that easy

I would not recommend their food unless you really want to get to know your best friend.

I went and ordered a hotdog online for myself and then my husband barged in the room and admitted he's been cheating on me for 8 years (we've only been together for 7) and then he slapped me across the face with divorce papers and forced me to sign them
he took all 12 of our kids

and do you know what sucked the most, the hotdog was GROSS!

COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS.

They are overpriced and does not give quality products/food.the food isn't even eatable half the time, i brought a pasta from they and it had three different types of off cheese the smell alone made me vomit. The nachos are not even nachos they are just chips with hard cheese and cold sauce. Chips and fish is always soggy and they is no flavoring



If possible i would give them no stars.

The food is horrific, it's clearly hurriedly made without any second thought.
they are not any healthier than other cheaper meals from fast food restaurants, instead, they just have left flavour and are much more expensive

7$ for half a bowl of wet soggy, unflavoured ravioli is ridiculous.
if I wanted food this bad I would get my 2-year-old cousin to cook instead, and it would still be cheaper.
no one expects high-quality cuisine, but they do expect edible food.

Poor, Poor Customer service. I have contacted the company twice over a number of weeks through their "contact us" page only to be completely ignored and no response forthcoming. Not willing to respond. Unfortunately, the schools pass on the responsibility to contractors and don't want to know about any problems. Shame, Shame, Shame! Positive side- saved heaps of money avoiding using the service!

I work at a number of schools and find the food offerings in Rory's canteens both more expensive and much lower quality than I can get outside of the school environment. Most of the food offerings sold in the Rory's canteens I've been to are not remotely healthy. Lots of heavily processed breads, meats and potatoes put together cheaply and sold way above cost. Schools should look at these canteen contacts more seriously if they genuinely value student health and fair pricing.

A great place to go it is a school the staff are friendly as the students are friendly too.

Absolutely disgusting prices especially for a school. You can get the exact same food for cheaper anywhere else and bought in bulk. The food isn’t even good, and isn’t cooked properly. The butter chicken gave my friend and I food poisoning. Not everyone can afford this especially if a student has no food/ not enough money. Disgraceful.

Extremely overpriced. Zooper doopers are $1.50, could buy a pack of 30 of them for $6. Selling extremely overpriced foods in a school is ridiculous especially when the food isn't even that great or filling. I'm not able to make my lunch some mornings so i have to go the the canteen and milk my bank account. You guys as an organisation need to rethink your prices and food quality.

Rory's took over the canteen at our school, and the quality and service is terrible. The pricing is 20%-30% more than the previous company. The quality of the food is terrible. A schnitzel roll that I bought was wet where it had been sitting in its own oil for hours. Ducks wouldn't have eaten the bread roll because it was soggy and grey, falling apart in the container. This is a frequent occurrence unfortunately. Many colleagues and students complain about the food quality. Portion sizes are poor. The burgers are tiny and lack taste, but the single serve of baked meals (such as lasagna) are big enough to feed a family of 3. Would not recommend for school canteen catering.

The food is horrible quality and is so overpriced its not worth it. It looks microwaved and frozen. The nachos for example are $6.20 yet barely reach the halfway of a takeaway box. Also they throw the food out that they dont sell which is an absolute waste of food. Also they dont even give you the correct order when you do it online which is stupid because i ordered in advanced so i should get what i payed for.

Very low quality and over priced. The food is disgusting. Hairs in pizza, rotten lettuce in burgers, the mayo is gooey and clumpy, just overall gross.

Constant menu changes removing items and not replacing them. Food aimed at teenagers and teachers not at primary school kids

Substituted my sons lunch with an ice cream (yes it was upon his request but she had nothing lunch wise to give him) what's the use of ordering online when you don't have it? And the customer service is non existent

Over priced low quality and no flavour as a parent i am disgusted. My child came home feeling so sick after eating the carbonara. My child was also sold an out of data food item. I will definitely not be allowing my child to purchase from their school canteen again. So sad.

My family have been trialling your new Rory's @ Home offering. Super easy and convenient and also really delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the veg lasagne we had last night:)

Spent a lot of time trying to get specific information on ingredients due to my child's health issues. Staff namely Andrew and Shane didn't give me ingredients list. They were vague as to what would be suitable. They said they sometimes use outside ingredients which have artificial colours etc. I asked for one or two meals that would be good. My son ordered one and he said the cheese looked and tasted like it had colours. I was told cheeses would be Mainland with home cooked selection. The second order he made, again going on what Shane said was ok, was not provided as the
wrong wrap was given, one with meat and too much mayo that Shane said not ok. Shane said he wasn't sure about the meats and I said I wouldnt order. A mistake in order then made without correction before lunch time! My son accepted not knowing what to do, hungry and not wanting to hold line up. He felt sick afterwards. I am in disbelief as to how this has happened after the effort I made trying to access meals ok for my child. This company was not forthcoming or knowledgeable re ingredients. They DO use artificial ingredients. But they claim on their website to use fresh herbs etc and no additives or harmful ingredients such as preservatives. Very disappointing. No more lunches from them. And this is not fair on students. My child looked forward to this as a treat in the week! I hope Rory's Lunches you improve your game and provide what you claim to provide. Healthy meals made fresh daily, not cheaper and poor quality. Children are your customers!
