ROLLS 'N RICE reviews
20Have been here a few times when other places have been closed and have burnt/hard rice every time.have tried the beef, chicken and pork and the chicken was the best choice.the sauce provided is honestly horrendous.staff are nice enough.cannot understand why there is a line for this place with all the other good options around.spring rolls are nice though.
Super fast and friendly service. Good roll, pork was a bit fatty but still delicious. Will definitely be back to try other fillings
I've tried lots of different banh mi places. This I must say should be a go to for sure! Amazing quality and great service with fair prices. Give it a go guaranteed to satisfy cravings.
Would recommend the tofu mushroom noodle salad. Very popular during lunchtime but the line moves quickly.
There was barely any chicken in my rice bowls the last few visits despite them having good serving sizes previously. Good Rolls but I do not recommend the rice bowls.
Tiny place selling delicious, simple, fresh Vietnamese lunch dishes. My go-to place for banh mi, but I’ve also enjoyed their rice bowls and beef curry many times. Quick and efficient (there is often a queue, but it moves quickly), and always friendly service.
They have attitude problems. Do not have time and always in a hurry. Don't know how to serve customers. Poor Services. I took my wife to taste it, and they insulted both of us.
Great lunch hole in the wall.
Good range and quality Vietnamese food.
Also opens early than most.
And most importantly they are happy to give extra chilli
Oh my god. The only thing upsetting about this place is wishing I had known about it sooner! I was initially a customer of the viet eatery across from this shop but I was so disappointed with the price point and very poor quality of food and flavour. The food here is super delicious, I feel bad about paying for such good quality meals at very affordable prices! The owner is so friendly (unlike other shops as before mentioned) and passionate about his shop - if you work on Pirie St and want an amazing flavourful lunch for a fraction of the cost at other food outlets, go here! In the photo, I ordered the noodle salad with combo - pork and lemongrass chicken.
Tasty, fresh, well priced lunch spot. Owners are super friendly. There’s often a line but it moves quick and worth the short wait!
One of the nicer Vietnamese rolls. The beef was good quality and not tough. The rolls could be a bit crisper but it was still good and fresh at 1.30 pm. Happy to visit again. Thank you.
Absolutely love this place! Always greeted with a smile when I get through the door, the food is super fresh and the flavours are amazing! What more could you ask for! If there was an option to add 6 stars I'd give it!
ROLLS 'N RICE is absolutely fantastic. I work just around the corner and have been coming here regularly since I stumbled upon it. I've now tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed; it's all delicious.
- The portion sizes are generous (I'm not a small person).
- The prices are very reasonable.
- The flavours are outstanding.
- The food is fresh.
- The menu contains a good variety.
There is usually a large line out the front, and rightly so, though the service is still quick. The two people who work there are lovely and friendly.
I've tried a lot of different places in the CBD for lunch, and would not recommend anywhere higher than this. I hope the owners and staff keep doing what they are doing! Thank you for the great food.
I work all around the place and whenever I'm in the area I'll eat here. For about 15 years I would just grab a couple of spring rolls when I walked past but a few years ago I thought I'd try the noodle salad bowls. They are the best ones around. Full of flavour and fresh ingredients. The line up at lunchtime goes down the street for a good reason and it moves quickly.
It is the best lunch I have ever had in Australia. The noodle salad with pork is amazing. It is inexpensive but really much, so you can be full. I will visit here before I leave Adelaide.
+ Tasty food
+ Quite generous portion
+ Good price for the quality
Got the roast pork+lemon grass chicken rice combo.
The rice was flavourful and had the right texture (not too hard and not too soft).
The chicken was soft and juicy.
The roast pork is also good but the crackle can be a bit too hard to chew sometimes.
Overall, very satisfying meal and will come back again to try other items in the menu.
Please keep up the good work!:)
Great place for a quick filling lunch. Can be busy and have a line but it's worth the wait
The BEST Vietnamese restaurant in Adelaide - the staff are SO friendly and make you feel truly valued as a customer. It's always such a wonderful experience to get food here - Great work team. I'll definitely visit with my girlfriend. Highly recommended this place. I'd rate it 10/10.
I went there once and I am never coming back! I don’t know what they put in their food but I have food poisoning after I ate there!
The tastiest, best value Banh Mi in Adelaide! I eat there almost everyday.
Sokheng (Ken) and his wife Leang are always so happy and friendly. They've always made me feel welcomed. Thank you!
