Rockit Performing Arts reviews
8My daughter was three when she had a delay in gross motor skill development and Rockit was recommended by her Physio. She is now 10 and Rockit has been amazing for her movement, confidence and resilience. It has been a joy to watch my daughter grow up while dancing at Rockit. As a member of Ignite, I feel incredibly proud and blessed to see the baby that crawled and walked “late” dance so beautifully on stage and absolutely love doing so. Fundamental to all of this she is supported by a wonderful community of students and amazing, inspiring teachers. I highly recommend you try Rockit Performing Arts.
My daughter has been dancing with Rockit for many years. Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, tap, hip hop, heels and she absolutely loves it. Not only is she keeping fit and having fun, but she is also embracing diversity and inclusion. Rockit is more than a dance academy, it a safe community that nurtures and raises kids with confidence and social awareness. As I watch my daughter grow into a confident mature young woman, I am thankfully that she is apart of the Rockit family, who have provided the positive support she needed throughout her teen years. I’m also thankful for the Rise program, enabling her to give back to this beautiful community and develop career options.
RockIt have developed a unique, caring and nurturing culture with a very well strategised broad inclusion where people from all ages, passions for genres and raw abilities they come with have a chance to grow.
The concerts are evidence of the hard work put in by staff and students and are always entertaining.
RockIt is a great place to belong. Thoroughly recommend.
After being a member of this dance studio for many years we were let down after expressing frustrations proceeding to the lead up to the business taking a class off the program without notice and my child trying to transition to a new type of class at the studio. The owner is extremely rude and not able to confidently handle parents concerns, certainly needs some experience running a successful studio.
Amazing inclusive dance school, making everyone feel welcome. Does so much for its students self esstem and confidence.
So lucky to have been a part of it.
Can't speak highly enough of the team at Rockit. They have made our son welcome and he gets so much excitement about going each fortnight. It has built his confidence.
This place is awesome! All of the staff go above and beyond to make sure that all students feel comfortable and safe.
I was very wary of enrolling my daughter in dance classes because of my own negative experiences in childhood. I ignored the incessant pleading for 3 years before I heard about Rockit from a friend. I thought we'd give it a try, and was blown away by the atmosphere and positive ethos of the school. It's all about dancing for the love of dancing, and appreciating the unique abilities of every student - whether it has anything to do with dance or not! To anyone that has a child with an interest in dance (or all round performing arts), and values raising our children to be good people, Rockit is the place for you!
