Rockford Wines reviews
83Definitely one of the greatest cellar doors in the region! They have crafted some of the most unique varieties of wine in the Country
Hands down the best wine tasting experience in Barossa Valley. Walked in without a clue about what we should try. We were greet with very friendly and welcoming staff. Prompts to Atonia (sorry if I butchered your name), who was extremely helpful in guiding us to finding best wine that suited to each of our tastes. Aside from the interesting back stories of each bottles, the brewing processes were also explained in a simple yet fun way.
Even though the wine tasting was complementary, and the staffs were not pushy at all about making a purchase. We walked away with 12 bottles of wine and were very pleased that we decided to take a trip to this niche winery in Barossa.:)
What mind blowing experience, beautiful wine and our tasting was presented very well, recommended
The wine tasting experience at Rockford was the best we have encountered in the Barossa.and we've been to a few!
Antonio was exceptional, the ambience superb, the wine
Had a great time once again at Rockfords, Sam was an amazing host and was very insightful her depth of understanding around the selection of wines on offer, thank you Sam!
Dropped in by chance. Had the most fantastic experience. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, wine was beautiful. Walked out with some lovely bottles of wine and the best experience I have had in S. A
Enthralled and educated by Sylvana (and Lucy) at our wine tasting. Great day and great exposure to authentic, historic wine making.
Such a great experience at Rockfords - the staff are so friendly and we ended up just chatting about our holiday. Delicious and experimental wines - this place is a must see! Thank you:)
Nahum gave us the most lovely experience. Was not pushy at all and created a great environment. Lovely banter and incredible wines. Nahum is an amazing asset to Rockford!
A compulsory stop for us with every Barossa trip! Always friendly. Beautiful warm fireplace with antique barrels of aged tawny sitting above us. Delicious tasting flight. The Rod and spur always gets the endorphins running!
Gorgeous little winery, well worth a visit. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and provide lots of knowledge and insight into the wine making process during a one on one wine tasting. Plus the wine is all delicious!
Fantastic tasting experience. 10 wines included, all wonderful, and the staff very welcoming, knowledgeable and engaging.
As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia tour of South Australia I headed out to the Barossa Valley, and the 9th and final stop of the day was at this lovely cosy venue where I got to squeeze in a wine tasting and enjoy some great wine.
Came here for tasting and to buy some wine. We were not disappointed! All the wine was delicious and Brett was an excellent guide.
What an amazing experience! Lovely explanation and attention by Lisa, definitely a must go if you are in the Barossa
Really interesting and helpful tasting with a lovely woman explaining the different wines. Loved the light reds, especially the Alicante. A must visit in the Barossa!
Really really enjoyed our time here. Cellar door for tasting was a great experience and everyone working really knows their stuff.
Fantastic Free Tasting with Lisa. Lots of knowledge and fun. Highly recommend this Cellar door at Rockford. Shirz Cab in hand
Absolutely one of the Best wine tastings we have Been on, good wine, charming person Who had so much knowledge, 10 out of 10!
Wow! Do yourself a favour and visit this winery. It's a step back in time with the beautiful old buildings with underground tanks, open fermenters and hand presses. They make their wines using traditional machinery and older grape varieties. A large tasting list and no fee. We had the nicest sommelier who was very passionate and knowledgeable. Add this to your list when visiting the Barossa.
