Robertson Street Reserve reviews
32A great place to bring the kids for skating, biking, scootering, tennis, picnicking and playground fun. The two road safety tracks are a fantastic place to teach your kids the road rules while they ride their favourite bike/scooter.
Not enough drones turns out they were mostly planes and one time a tennis ball (cooked). Could do without all the kids especially the foul mouthed shadow type. I think the parents actually encourage them but what can you expect.
Such a great park! It has something for everyone - scooter/bikes on the fake road, netball, basketball, tennis courts, playground, bbq, water dispenser, toilets, shelter and table, and a big shelter are with no table (which is a bit odd but useful if you bring a table I suppose!). It does seem to be a common spot that people walk dogs, often off leash, so be aware if you have little people that are scared of dogs.
Great safe place to take the kids. Bikes, scooter, roller skates etc. Also a playground, reasonable toilets. Basketball ball and tennis courts. Excellent facilities for free.
We have been a couple of times now. It's a really good park. With great facilities. But could definitely do with some more seating and shade options. No where near enough for how busy it gets.
Need more bins!
Pathway is uneven either side of the BBQ, causing me to trip up (not badly, just caught myself and 1 year old off gaurd).
Otherwise the kids (10,8,7 and 1) all enjoyed themselves and were already asking when we could go back to this park!
Perfect for kids to enjoy.half Basketball court, half netball court, big size playground and personally those beautiful big trees made it more pleasant. Overall great for a picnic or birthday party gathering with more than enough area for kids to play.
Great place for gatherings! Courts and bike riding quadrants. Caters to kids and adults also provides shelter from the elements if needed.
This park is a lovely family park. It has lots on offer. Really good for kids to bring their bikes to, and ride around. As there's a bike road safety feature. It's best to look for yourself. I'd recommend it for an outing. Nice park for different ages. My dog enjoys walking past it as there's a creek to look at and lots of plants to snuffle. Lots of grassed area.
Great park for all ages. Lots of space for picnics toilets shelter swings slides ect very busy on weekends great during week
Simple climbing equipment, slide and settings in a bush setting.
Also has a kid friendly flying fox a spinner and 2 animal rockers
Great to have a park and a playground together. Toilets are very gross and no fencing but overall a great spot
Great for teaching your kids the road rules while on their bikes. Would be better if all parents were able to supervise their own offspring. Upside of unsupervised kids is it teaches your children how to do emergency stops and collision avoidance:)
The little track is great for kids on bikes/scooters.
The basketball court is good for older kids and then there the play gym stuff at the top. Plenty to keep the kids entertained.
There's a public BBQ, sheltered table and public toilets.
The play area isn't sheltered but with the facilities there it's a great place to visit.
Nice bike tracks for smaller children, would be nice to see the basketball courts updated with another ring setup
Great park for younger and older kids. Great road track for kids to.ride bicycles and scooters.
We live nearby to this beautiful huge park. Its great how they have done it up, and not converted to housing land.
Not many can say they have a huge park nearby with tennis courts, basket ball court, play ground and flying fox, even a kids safety bike track, the perfect place to teach your kid how to ride. It has shelters, bbq and toilets.
We love taking the dogs for a walk along the creek its beautiful.
Great park. Swings, flying fox, tennis courts, basketball and netball hoops, kids bike/scooter track, several sheltered tables and toilets. The only downside is no maintained lawn area
So much space but not enough play equipment furthermore there is a huge danger lurking there, the canal isn't fenced off and it will take a split second for a young child to fall in a drownd or hurt themself badly.
Play equipment needs to be improved, park and canal should be fenced off.
