Fabulous motel in Robe!

We recently did a trip from Melbourne to Adelaide and it was a bleisure trip. We had the opportunity at short notice to stay at this fabulous motel. Room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Quiet location and a short walk to the Town Centre, Marina, Jetty, Obelisk and Old Gaol. Customer Service was exceptional and Kate and the team were friendly and helpful.

We highly recommend a stay at the Harbour View Motel in Robe.

Wow! Where do I start, what a cracker — venue, so clean, fresh, the staff exceptionally polite and helpful.
Our ‘new’ room / suite was absolutely incredible. Cannot wait to come and stay again.
The attention to detail, the cleanliness, honestly could not fault one single thing.
The new Coffee shop was literally 10/10 and we ordered the bacon butty and the cheese and ham toastie. Cannot wait to order the same again tomorrow morning, a genuine thank you to Tim and Kate, an absolutely incredible transformation?

We have been staying here for a number of years now. Tim and his wife Kate purchased this hotel recently and are dedicated to making some upgrades, which so far have been exceptional. Very much family run, all of whom are the friendliest, most accommodating people, nothing is too much trouble at all. We were made incredibly welcome, and the location is perfect, the views over the harbor are memorizing. Already booked it our next visit:)

We stayed for one night on our way through to Adelaide, walking distance to restaurants & the beach, the room itself had all the necessities for our stay, comfy king size bed, not sure about pillows as we always bring our own, my only complaint - I didn’t feel the shower was cleaned properly but would definitely recommend!

For the price paid the standard of the room was very ordinary, nothing like the photos online. The bathroom was very old and tiny (needed upgrading). There was no sink to wash the cutlery and crockery after use, one had to use the small basin in the bathroom! The basic standard of the room deserved a $130 price per night, not the $185 charged. I won't be staying here again.

We actually needed to change our booking at the last minute as we were arriving a day earlier than planned and it was handled without any problems - we were so greatful for Caroline arranging this for us. The room was spacious, clean and very quiet. The only problem we really had was lack of power points to recharge all our batteries (photographers and we need to recharge a lot lol) but this was really only minor and wouldn't stop me rebooking in future. I liked where the motel was located as we could walk easily to anywhere in Robe (except the foodland). Caroline was very informative about where to find things, and warned us to book early if we were planning to eat out in robe.

Nice room, quite spacious. Well maintained, everything worked. Located on the hill above the harbour. No negatives - would stay again

Great Location. We had one of the Panoramic Harbour View King Rooms which was excellent. Very comfortable, well appointed and indeed a panoramic view of the harbour. The staff were also very helpful with suggestions on what to do in Robe.

Staff were super friendly - great local knowledge & recimmendations. Mahalia Coffee House worth a visit - headland walk great & VERY comfy bed!

Great accommodation. We had a balcony room with a harbour view. Fabulous outlook. Clean, comfortable bed. Great dinner recommendations. Highly recommend staying here.

Everything we needed was in our unit even detergent so we could wash our dishes. The bed was just as good as our beautiful bed at home, so comfortable.
Staff very friendly and more than happy to offer suggestions of where to go and what to do.

Beautiful location, immaculate cleanliness, friendly, helpful service. Walks to lookouts and town a must do. Will definitely stay here again.

As with most of the motels in Robe Harbour View is quite old. The rooms are progressively being updated. Ours had a king bed, new blinds and a new bathroom. I’ve stayed in three motels in town over the past few years and this was the best.

Our stay was good but thought we would be closer to the marina. If we come again we will need a harbour view room

The price was extreme for the product offered, I would have thought if your not going to service the room, you need to price accordingly, youth hostel comes to mind.
The room was average and not very clean, spider webs in the windows bed wasn't particularly comfortable.
The position is a little disconcerting felt like we were on display. (privacy issues) no actual view.

Very pleasant greeting, arrived early wanting to leave our bags as we were attending a lunch close by. Highly recommend

Clean, tidy. Fabulous balcony views. A short, relaxing walk to shops, restaurants etc. Very welcoming hosts, good parking. Highly recommended.
