The worst traveling experience I ever had 4 years ago. Charged me recklessly from the deposit due to extra staff fee for investigating a claimed complaint of noise lodged by the neighbor. After check-in in reception, needed to take taxi myself to the apartment far away. Crazy. Never go to the hell.

Absolutely do not even consider booking especially the Sturt Street accomodation. I turned up, there’s no where to check in, townhouse looks lived in and messy and no way to get in. Number given for accommodation is not in service, and they don’t respond even when the company I booked with contacted them. Absolute waste of time. I suspect it’s a house someone lives in and they rent rooms

Unit was dirty, curtains hanging off rod, huge hole in wall in small bedroom, broken glass in courtyard. And don’t look at the doonas!

Booked through booking.com which said the stay was $234. Money got taken out of the card two weeks before our stay which when arrived we had to change cards over there for has to pay a further $234 and got told we would be transferred the money that had been taken out of the other card. The man had told us we had to make a $279 refundable bond which will get reimbursed within 48 hours after our stay. It has now been a month and had to make numerous calls and emails but had been hung up on and told to ‘stop asking for money’. Altogether I have paid $747 and still haven’t received our $513 back.

DO NOT BOOK ON booking.com!

This place says it has a free cancellation policy. I canceled my booking on the same day I made the booking. It's taken me over 2 months to get $320 they took from my credit card.

Do not risk it!

Booked Feb 2020. Money was debited from my account. I cancelled the next day when I was informed that I needed to collect the keys from another property.
Though my booking was fully refundable, my money hasn't been returned. They are ignoring my attempts to recoup my money owing to me. I alerted the crime watch scam team.

I booked an apartment on the 19th of December and paid my bond in cash. This was a terrible mistake as it is now 3 months later and I still have not been issued it back. According to the director Ian, the money was deposited into the ‘wrong’ bank account. The director Ian, who shows a strong inability to perform his job correctly, has still not been able to provide any evidence of this transfer. His staff seem too scared to action anything and I am convinced that I am not the first guest to have their cash bond payment not returned. Furthermore, the condition of the room reflects the management, dirty. I would recommend staying at any other apartment other than rnr serviced apartments.

This stay booked at least a month ahead, and we are arriving at midnight, there is no excuses that room not be cleaned properly. Because their mistake, we been through out onto the street in a freezing midnight when first time visit Adelaide, and without any shuttle transport, we have to pay taxi by myself? ! This is ridiculous! And my 2 YO boy now getting cold, he was really unwell last night! We are separated with our friends, that not convenience at all, your mistake totally ruined our plan and holiday!

Definitely stay away from this hotel! It was a nightmare! Firstly I booked and paid over the phone with the owner Ian and after a week I hadn’t received my confirmation email telling me all the details. I then called him and he said he would send it to me. A few days after he said he couldn’t remember what I had booked and I had to tell him all the details. Also on the phone I asked what the bond would be and he said $80. On the day of my booking I called him to let him know I was picking up the keys and he said that “somehow” my room was taken! So I had to settle for a different room. Then when I picked up the keys he tried to charge me for the parking I already paid for and then said the bond would be $300! When we arrived at the room it was filthy! The floors were dirty nothing had been wiped down there was bugs and dust everywhere not to mention the dining chairs were so unsafe and wobbly and the mattress wasn’t even a mattress it was sooo uncomfortable! After we had left my friends accidentally took one of the pair of keys home with them but I told him I could give it to him the next day after I finished work and he said it would be a $50 late fee even though he had the other 2 pairs of keys but I agreed upon the $50 then it had been a few days and I hadn’t received my bond back so I followed it up and he said he was now going to charge me $150! This man is a scammer, very unorganised and takes no pride in these rooms! If you want to enjoy yourself definitely don’t go here it will be horrific!

I booked this place using Bookings- all my paperwork states I don’t need to pay anything until 2 wks before my trip. RNR kept on hassling me for a deposit. He is telling he can take a deposit anytime he wanted. I got Bookings involved and it was agreed that I didn’t need to pay a deposit until 28 of Feb, he went and took a deposit on the 1 of Feb with out my knowledge. - My booking wasn’t until Easter.
He never replied using Bookings and sent direct messages only. This company are rogues and definitely cannot be trusted. Avoid using them at all cost. I have now canceled my booking hopefully I will get my money back…

Unfortunately this place is a scam. I have reported it to the ACCC and am currently discussing other options with my lawyers. I did stay at this place back in Apr 21 and had no problems at all then, but apparently since then the place has went under new management. I booked on the 03 Nov for the 04 Dec with free cancellation and cancelled it the next day on the 04 Nov, due to a change of mind. I ended up proceeding with my trip to Adelaide and did a drive by of the check in address on their website and the office was empty. It's going on a month and a half and I am still waiting on a refund for this place.

Would not recommend staying here, Ian has refused to take my calls, answer my emails and refund me the $20 we paid for parking and then couldn't use as my ute would not fit into the garage! Never staying here or recommending it again.

The apartment was dark and badly equipped. How can you cook when there are no pans. The dishwasher did not work and the cleaning was inadequate. The taps in both bathrooms needed repairing and no space to hang towels in one of the bathroom. There was no kitchen roll no salt and pepper no cooking oil which are basics when providing a kitchen to cook in. The bedrooms had no where tod place your clothes so you had to leave them in your case but you could hang some clothes if you only had about four items. Overall it was close to amenities but that's all it had going for it.

The hospitality, confirmation and check-in were the worst and most stressful we had during our 4 month of travel were we had stayed at around 35 locations. Mostly we book the day before arrival. First after the confirmation we received a message that we had to pay 25 AUD when we check-in after 6 PM because they need to hire a night manager. At booking.com it was stated that you can check-in till 10 PM and no information displayed at the extra costs/The fine print/Important information page. So I replied that it wasn't agreed before booking and that I don't agree on the extra costs. They just send me that I have to pay it. Then I complained at booking.com customer service who made a phone call to RNR and after that they finally told me that I don't have to pay for this. It was very stressful because it was on the day itself and we were road tripping for around 500 KM that day so we were not sure if we would made it before 6 PM. We felt like we had to hurry instead of enjoying our road trip.

Secondly, when we arrived they asked us to pre-authorize my credit card upon 300 AUD to cover any incidental charges. On booking.com they stated 200 AUD. I asked for the reason why to pre-authorize another 100 AUD and they told it is because of the weekend. I told it wasn't stated at booking.com and I don't agree. Then it was okay to pay 200 AUD.

Third, I asked for the wifi. On booking.com is stated they have free wifi. They provided a mobile 4G router and told that I may use 5 GB of data or so and have to pay extra for more data. I told them I expect to have free wifi as stated on booking.com, then I was offered 10 GB of data and that I had to be lucky because it is more then they normally provide. I told it wasn't more but less because at booking.com it stated free. So I didn't used the wifi at all.

Forth. It feels very unwelcome instead of great hospitality because there are fines displayed around in the apartment. For example one about that you have to pay extra if you don't clean the apartment (see photo). This while their booking.com page stated that it is including housekeeping.
With all those displayed fines and pre-authorized payment you'll feel stressful again and have the feeling that you must take photos of everything when you check-in to be sure they won't charge you extra.

Fifth. The manager Frank said sorry for those feelings and offered a free parking space and late check-out. How ever, was at 10 AM at our door to ask if we are okay and say housekeeping will be in 15 minutes while we were almost ready (10 minutes) before leaving.

Sixth. The manager told me he already changed the information at booking.com but wasn't displayed. It is hard to believe because the housekeeper told me they recently changed address of the reception office, and that one is displayed well on booking.com important information page.

It is a beautiful apartment but with wrong staff and management that need to learn a lot about hospitality. I hope they will learn & improve in near future for other guests.

Just had an amazing stay at the new Flinders Street apartment! The apartment was beautifully clean, modern and has an outstanding view of the city. The apartment was spacious and had two generous sized bedrooms. It is also conveniently located so you can easily explore the city on foot. Could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to stay in Adelaide for both a short or longer trip. Great customer service at reception also!

No Air con that works and a sign that says if you go below 21 degrees it will cost YOU $100 for a technician on what is clearly a major issue with the AC. Should be advertised with no AC and priced at less then $100.
