Riverton Caravan Park reviews
25Enjoyed our stay a riverton caravan park over Xmas made feel very welcome very friendly staff clean toilets and showers and camp kitchen will be going back.
The caravan park is walking distance from the 2 local pubs, has good, clean amenities and comfortable enough beds. The cabins have a cold fridge, toaster and microwave.
Lost 2 stars due to road noise (large trucks) throughout the night and my car being covered in tree sap under which we needed to park which will be difficult to remove.
This is the second time we have visited the caravan park this year and it has to have the friendliest owners we have ever met. Dusty and Louise go above and beyond to ensure their campers have everything they need and are very welcoming. Small lovely park with spotless amenities and a good playground. The football oval, golf course and swimming pool are right next to the park. Really friendly and nice town, a good base to explore the region. Highly recommend this park and will definitely will be back.

Clean and tidy. Beautifuly maintained grounds and very friendly and helpful staff. Thanks Dusty
A great little park. Run by a beautiful couple, nothing is too much trouble. Dusty always helping you get the best out of the park and the Riverton area. Wineries to local markets recommended for us all. Thank you for your Hospitality Jim and Wendy
Small and lovely park. Good amenities and management was great. Got to watch a local footy game. Can definitely recommend this park for a base from which to wander about the countryside. Really friendly and nice town.
Great place to stay. Great facilities, great friendly/family place to stay. Amazing playground. We will definitely be staying again real soon.
Thanks for having us.
Fabulous little caravan park, managed by a wonderful friendly couple, in a great, friendly country township
Nice little park and the amenities are OK. Backs onto the main road so can be a little noisy. Great kids park and town pool next door.
Beautiful green caravan park with a pool and a big kids park. The husband and wife run the caravan park where lovely and very helpful nothing was to much for them to make your stay comfortable
Very quiet, relaxing, great people. Very comfortable cabin, terrific BBQ kitchen.
Definitely see me again some time.
Thank you Riverton Caravan Park. Beautiful stay with the lovely public swimming pool next door. Kids enjoyed the playground.
Very clean and tidy caravan park friendly staff, and very clean swimming pool, well worth a visit.
Nice quiet park small, clean toilets and showers.
But in the rain the site is very wet, running into and under the ground sheet. Ground not soaking it in, so flooding out the anex.
Great park if you've got kids. Quieter than a lot of the bigger parks, has an awesome playground, an oval right next to it, a swimming pool for summer and lots of bike/walking trails nearby. The facilities are clean and modern.
Really excellent clean park with very friendly staff in a welcoming town. Would give it 5 stars except for the football club next door.with extremely loud music till 2.10AM Sunday morning with overflow revelers taking up noisily in the camp kitchen. Would happily stay here again but will avoid saturday nights. The football club is over the fence from the caravan park and it is not an ideal marriage.
A lovely caravan park, friendly staff with clean amenities, also great if you have a fire pit for fire highly recommend, great for a weekender and not to far from Adelaide.
Good country park, on the southern side of the clare Valley wine region and just north of the Barossa.
Riverton Caravan Park, where we have been staying for this last fortnight up until Christmas is truly one of the great caravan parks.
Council owned & run it is reasonably priced considering the facilities available & it is well suited to accommodate either a couple or a large group (say a church group or something similar).
The facilities include:
Grassed areas to park your van or put up a tent.
A number of well appointed cabins close to the amenities block.
A (public) dump point.
Bar-b-ques.
Camp kitchen.
Very clean toilets & showers.
Laundry facilities.
A (public) swimming pool (those staying in the Park receive free entry).
Fantastic playground.
Including a flying fox.
Exercise equipment including.
Pull Downs.
Body Pulls & Push Ups.
Elliptical Trainer.
Chest Press.
Leg Press, and.
Aerobic Cycle.
There is even a oval with a grandstand that has a large hall underneath that can be hired for events (Covid willing).
The golf course is right across the road & it is a hub for a number of cycle tracks to nearby towns & venues.
