A beautiful place to spend a morning or enjoy a family get together.
Several park table and chairs are throughout the reserve. Free Electric BBQs available, nice, clean and well kept (please clean after use).
A couple of Swings for the littlies, a sandpit and plenty of space to run around and play ball games. 2 areas for parking with clean and tidy amenities available aswell.
The only downside to this location, is that there is a healthy colony of European Wasps in the area somewhere.

Great place not vast open spaces but enough area for a family to investigate or lay back for a few hours.

Very peaceful and attractive open space. Basic playground could be expanded to entertain the kids more effectively.

Lovely setting on the Onkaparinga.quiet and very special feel.
Dave Clarke's Singing Gazebo is tucked away here too. Australian treasure.

Great small park. Well kept, clean toilets and BBQ's. Onka river, cliffs & bird life. PS not far from the bakery

A nice and secluded area to bring your family or friends for a day out in the sun. It's not built for long walks or bird watching, but it is a nice area if you're looking for a safe park to play some sport or bring your family to see a the magnificently large rock wall that the old river had carved out.

A lovely scenic little place for a picnic. Quiet and really tidy. Had a wonderful summers afternoon with plenty of shade under the big gums on a hot day.

Just gorgeous! I went to a wedding here recently and it was truly stunning. We saw rabbits, honey eaters and koalas, and the creek makes things so lovely and peaceful. There was plenty of parking, toilets and a swing for the kids, and there were picnic tables too so it would be a lovely spot to bring something to eat. Surprisingly quick and easy to get to from the city and a picturesque drive - I highly recommend a visit. And if you’re looking for an inexpensive wedding ceremony location, your photos will be gorgeous.

A very quiet and tranquil park. Surrounded by trees in a secluded area off the main road in Clarendon. There are a couple if BBQs, but one is away from the all the chairs. There is clean toilet facilities. An open grass area perfect for a large picnic or kicking the footy which sits next to the Onkaparinga river.

I love this spot.it's quiet and beautiful.still has the charm of an old town and the river is still quite full if you walk a bit farther up.

A restful and green reserve alongside the always flowing river. Some seats and shelter, and plenty of gum trees to rest under. A set of toilets on the southern end of the reserve near one of the car parks.

A scenic recreation park on the bend of the river. Lots of lawn area, and scattered tables and chairs. Plenty of carparking. Overnight free camping here used to be allowed, but has since been banned by the local council as of June 2018. Nearby campsites are suggested, namely, Pink Gum campground and Chookarloo campground. Both require booking. See the attached photo of the sign for details, or use the Wikicamps Australia app for further information.

Very picturesque at this time of year. Good park to walk the dog and also to camp overnight in the designated spots. Try and keep the area clean and the place will likely be preserved.

Nice little spot in Clarendon. Big grassy areas, tennis courts, river flowing through. Great to bring the dog down for a run or an evening stroll.
