River Torrens Linear Reserve reviews
17 I think that all people living in the Tea Tree Gully Council need to be made aware of this fantastic area and how vast it is. My wife and I have walked portions over the years but still find sections we've not explored.
One of many reasons to live in this great area. Great fire children to run, walk, ride and generally have a great, healthy time.
Lovely maintained nature trail with alot of history in the area. Walk can be as long as desired and river has crossings throughout.
There is a shared tarred pedestrian and bike path from the beach through the city up to the gorge.
The further upstream you go the greener it gets.
I like new trend of planting a greater variety of trees and shrubs while the historic pine and fruit trees are retained.
Crested pigeons are now established and there are more red rumped parrots every year.
Amazing place to go for a run, a bike or just a peaceful walk. I love roller-skating around the park too.
The best can't believe we have places like this in Adelaide. Walk once a week. Love spotting koalas even saw a roo
Quiet and expansive walking location. Gorgeous location - good mix of trails along the stream and winding around the foothills, plenty of shade. Within 10 minutes of my first visit saw a koala and kookaburra!
Absolutely beautiful! Tranquillity at natures best. A truly beautiful spot to enjoy. I went for a most therapeutic walk. I would love to live in one of the fantastic houses overlooking the grounds. Thumbs up from me!
Really enjoy walking with my family and our puppy. My son loves bringing his scooter so he can go up and down the hilly parts. My puppy loves all the beautiful nature and discovering new things each time we walk.
Excellent.well looked after.only thing missing is toilet facilities at the bottom end.puns seriously intended.
The Athelstone, Highbury and Paradise sections of Linear Park are worth a look. Plenty of open space for off lead dog walks but keep an eye on the signs re lead requirements. Much work done to cull non native plants along the Torrens, creating more space along the course of the river. If it rains properly it will look great by spring.
Beautiful morning for a stroll lovely under the trees for shade and listening to all the birds
A great place for walking, running and bike riding.nature in the city.it stretches fron the hills to the beach.and amazing what wildlife you will find in it.
Very nice for a bike ride or a walk but some parts of the track need some work (rubbish pick up, fix paths).
Pretty cool park, and runs all along the River Torrens. Great for riding a bike along, and lots of surprises along its length.
Great place to take the family. We love waking and riffing along the river. A ride from Athelstone to the city is fairly easy and you can go right through town and out to the ocean. Also an easy ride.
Simply beautiful. Very picturesque and well maintained. I love cycling along here. There's wildlife including the occasional koala and tons of ducks, you can even feed them bread. There are also several playgrounds and outdoor gym areas placed along the park.
My Favourite place! Has some of the best trails for running /cycling and maintained beautifully with some wildlife, Radelaide!
