River Torrens Linear Park Trail reviews
45I got pushed off my bike by someone that was unhappy with me be on their path. Very disappointed.
Quite a lovely area there are lovely horse along it as one ambles along or rides a bike there so much to see at the end is a lovely beach
River Torrens linear park trail ends at Torrens River outlet which is between Henley Beach and West Beach. It is a very popular trail used by walkers, runners and cyclists. Everyone can enjoy the trail. The trail is generally flat. It's also convenient to park at Ozone Reserve near the Torrens River outlet.
One of my favorite riding trails in Adelaide. You can start from Henley beach and follow the trail all the way up to Athelstone along the River Torrens. With playgrounds and exercising equipment along the way. There are also bbq facilities at most of the reserves along the way. Makes its a great trail suitable for any age or skill level.
Great place for a long or short ride, or even just a place to sit and think watching the horses (west beach end)
Can't beat a beautiful ride along the linear trail!
When the water is flowing, it's so pretty and refreshing.
The only point of criticism I would note is that dogs are often loose and have come off my bike due to a dog running out in front of me.
The trail itself is very peaceful and picturesque.
Love the sounds of all the different birds whilst walking or riding this trail.
I often ride along this path all the way from Henley Beach to the start of the hills near Gorge Rd. Sometimes the path can be extremely busy with pedestrians, dogs, families and cyclists which is great to see. There are multiple spots for BBQ options & few water stations along the path. There are playgrounds and fitness parks along the way too.
Great community setting family friendly Police horses can be seen feeding Public large brick toilets. Accessable paths for bikes wheelchairs disabled parking and 40 other parking. River close by and ueven surfaces bridges to cross.
Its a beautiful area to take a walk and burn some calories with its beautiful view and nature all the way to the beach.
Twists and turns, with hills and thrills. Wonderful scenery. Safe and well maintained. So many places to stop and explore. An asset.
It's a great area for walking and and you don't feel like you're in the suburbs. Lots of birdlife to see so many sections to walk
Wow! I've never seen this before! Dry-as-a-bone Torrens Outlet with no outlet! You can walk from West Beach all the way north to Outer Harbour. Do we ever need 40 days and 40 nights worth of rain! April has passed to the back end and no rain in sight. Not good
Excellent walk, should be one way bikes, other side pedestrians. Both on one side its not as relaxing.
Absolutely disgusting ants and millipedes everywhere! Just about got eaten alive by ants! There was also very still water in the river part that was smelly and gross. Definitely won't be going back.
Great trail to walk, jog, run or bike ride. Some steep bits and some downhill bits, which I loved the most flying down hill on my bike. Goes from the city to hills in one direction and city to beach in the other.
Here (almost) every week for West Beach Park Run. Plenty to look at over the 5km course. Great walk with the family.
Absolutely awesome! Quite a little serene hidden gem and kids loved the Stine bridge across the river
A nice walk. Wish the government woukdve built a full width bridge to cater for the footy crowds
Adelaide’s premier trail stretching from the hills to the sea alongside the river. Generally has bitumen paths in both sides with plenty of room for walkers, runners and cyclists. Also passes under most roadways so easy for kids to avoid traffic. And best of all, you can get on and off anywhere so you can do 50m, 500m, 5km or the full 50km
The path by the river is lovely to walk along. Shame about the amount of rubbish that accumulates in the river and inevitably gets washed onto the beach then out to sea!
Great scenic attraction for walking, jogging and bike riding - numerous playgrounds for the grandkids
