Okay I was another one who also stumbled across this little treasure cove of goodies on social media a few weeks ago and made it my life's mission to find any excuse to travel the hour here. So so glad I did because this bakery exceeded all my expectations. It was delicious. The pastries were so perfect and took me down memory lane to our trip to Europe. Good food is a honestly love language and this bakery has love written all over it. They have nailed it. I will be finding many more excuses to visit in the future.

No words needed to describe this amazing little cafe. Great savory options, pies, breakfast menu and dessert to impress. Good vegan and Gf options too.

What can I say. I'm not normally one for bakeries. But your food blew me out of the water. I was expecting to find the food heavy and quite sweet. I was literally taken aback at how light the pastry was, and all the pastries we had were not crazy sweet nor heavy. Highly recommend. I would give you guys a 10 out of 5, but unfortunately that's not an option here. We'll be back for more!

Been waiting for over a year to visit this bakery and try their pastries.

Definitely didn't disappoint.

Hazelnut croissant and morning bun were both great.

The coffee service was a bit slow but the coffee was good

Basket case. Quick to run out of food in middle of lunch service. Customer service painfully slow and disorganised.

Nice / cute countryside bakery with various food options. Coffee is also good quality.

Not giving 5 stars as the costumer service could improve a little bit! (eg.friendlier staff)

Had a really nice pork, apple and sage sausage roll, funky little place just a little pricey but would still visit again

This is _the_ bakery to visit in South Australia if you are looking for authentic, artisan pastries and baked goods. Rustic atmosphere with lots of open space. Antiques, beautiful flower arrangements and other curiosities fill the space. Don't come too late in the day or you might miss out on their delicious strawberry and rhubarb danishs!

Went here for the first time today and was really excited. Was barely greeted by the staff. Placed an order for 2 pies, 2 pastries, a chai latte and regular latte. No prices anywhere in sight. Paid for it all ($32.60) and took a seat. Everything was brought out as ordered, the chai and regular latte came at the same time. We were just finishing up and about to get up and buy some additional pastries and bread to take home when a rude woman came striding up to us and accused us of not paying for our latte claiming that it was a flat white that was brought out and was someone else’s. Was made to feel like an absolute criminal. No full receipt was given to us to break it down so we could see what we had paid for. Will never go back. Hope it was worth the extra $4.20 with barely a sincere apology. If we were in the wrong you should have copped it on the chin and hire more competent staff.

The food is amazing, a great choice of pastries, fresh bread and hot food. The staff not as friendly, they never seem to smile or welcome you, most times is very slow service. If it wasn’t for the food would not visit.

Credit to the Mrs. Drive up the ramp next to the old church it is located within fir easy parking.

Many bakeries have made a name for themselves over the last decade producing a wide variety of good food.

This bakery is packed with people because it offers a unique twist on many bakery staples you've never heard of you will be indecisive as to what you'd like the opportunity to sink your teeth into as well. You will not only like what you get you will feel disappointed that your stomach couldnt have more. There's been serious thought placed into their selection.

Warm vibes as you enter, embraced by eclectic furniture, clothing and artefacts for sale. The end wall rises up to offer high shelves sprawled with artisan breads and the cabinets loaded with enticing baked goods from European and Persian origin. Coffee was on point. Great place to sit and soak it in.

Cute little ex church bakery/cafe. Various croissants, artisan breads, pies, salads & coffee. Variety of croissants to try and was overall good but was missing that crunch texture despite seeing good layers of levening. Hazelnut spread croissant was our favourite due to flavour. Rhubarb was great too. Chocolate croissant was a bit blan with small amount of chocolate in centre which made it similar to plain croissant.
We had one pie: the ragu pie. Pastry was perfectly flaky without getting too strong butter flavour and was perfect. Filling flavour was missing that depth and there was barely any strips of beef within.
One thing we found annoying was there was no clear prices of many baked goods so had no idea what we’re paying for.
Service from the ladies were arrival but from the only man there with no face mask either, was rather lacking, he was quite cold and disinterested.

Pastries and service are what you would expect on the eastern side of the city.
A brilliant bakery, cafe and situated in a beautiful historic Adelaide Hills building.

Savoury food was ok. I think they are good at sweets only. Coffee was just alright, but not as good as I thought A good spot if you just want to relax under the sun and watch the town & cars pass by
