Ridge Park reviews
27Beautiful park tucked away, nice spot for a gathering. Bbq facility and tables available, carpark at the end of spence Street right in front of park
Great park, has oval, tennis and bball courts, skate bowl, playground, excercise equipment, a creek and a walking trail, all in the moddle of the busy suburbs at the base of the freeway. I take my kids there and also just go there for exercise.
Top shelf! Great bushland style park to walk around with multiple different areas to explore or recreate
Well placed just as you come off the SE freeway. A choice of areas with picnic tables and benches, toilets, shady areas plus shelter. Walk across the park to the creek to be surprised, it's just beautiful.
I would of given them a better rating except the sprinklers came on in the middle of the day whilst I had the picnic rug out
Lovely park.lots to see.
Skate park.exercise equipment
Toilets.lots of seats.great open space.beautiful lovely old trees
On the weekend, Explored an outdoor park - Ridge Park in the lovely Eastern suburb of Myrtle Bank. Covering a total area of more than 5 hectares, there is a large open lawn Oval in the middle. The facilities includes tennis courts, basketball courts, netball courts, outdoor fitness equipment, walking trails, skate parks, barbecue stoves and children playground. A distinctive storm water dam was found in this park!
A fun family day to spend over the weekend, I highly recommend this park!
Great space, beautiful park with oval, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, nature play, manual exercise machines, walking paths, bbqs, undercover seating and plenty if gum trees and grass
Great local park and oval, with good facilities and toilets. Tennis courts and a little car park too. Doggie bags.
Great place for a walk, outdoor games, 6 tennis courts open for public with toilets and outdoor workout area.
Ridge Pk, Park Myrtle Bank is at the junction of Glen Osmond Rd + Barr Smith Rd. They r two prominant state pioneers. The park has a monument on this corner. Walking trials, playground and a skate park entertain children if not the small creek.
Great park to walk the pooch & get some exercise. The pooch agreed too. Lots of things to sniff & checkout.
It had been raining so there was some water trickling down the cell. We had a great time looking for tadpoles and throwing rocks in the pools of water. The play ground had the nature play vibe, which is trumped by the natural creek.
Oasis among the busy city life. Hearing birds chirping away with young and old start their day exercising and relaxing in the park. The downside will be it's too small.
Great park with lots of facilities and shade. Chilled atmosphere, despite being on a reasonably busy road
This skatepark is ok.
Small street section with a few flat ledges.
Medium sized bowl is good but work needs to be done on the transition surfaces, its starting to crack.
Parking can be a bit of an issue.
Id recommend west beach skatepark or even norlunga over this park
Lovely space, great for little kind and big kids. Lots of BBQs and plenty of greased area to run around.
Always clean, have great exercise machines set up, its a great place to BBQ and have gathering.
Everything in this park is nice, except the skatepark. It is a dated two bowl setup with a manual pad and a ledge. Could do with a major revamp to bring it up to modern standards. Concrete isn't as haggard as some similar aged skateparks (paradise I'm looking at you) but is starting to wear down.
