Repco Somerton Park reviews
34An older man went above and beyond to help us out. He came out to the car to help us select which headlights we needed, and researched how to change them for us. Didn’t get his name unfortunately but he had grey hair and it the date was 7/10 midday.
Highly rude and unprofessional workers here, snickering and making fun of what vehicle a customer drives then gossping and laughing about it. (Customer actually drives a V8, not sure how this was a laughing matter, but regardless of what car you drive, laughing and gossping is so unnecessary and unprofessional) I think it's time the management of this store turned over some of your 'younger' staff who actually want a job and aren't bagging out customers, yeah? Very passive agressive aswell. I wouldn't even give one star, but in order to make this 'review, I had to. Deplorable and lack of customer service skills severely apparent. Management need to ensure their younger workers pull their heads in. Do they want a job or not?
One of the best repco stores in australia, the team are friendly and knowlegeable and always go above and beyond to help source stock for my business requirements
Went there to get a hub and bearing for my ve wagon. Part was on the shelf and I got my raa discount too. Pretty pleased with the service.
You can tell what the focus is around 4.45pm on a weekday. Today the customer car park was closed, the big oil bottle was being moved in and the instructions from an elder to the apprentice was all about getting the shop closed asap. That's customer service for you! Outbound Auto - the guys knew what they were talking about. Times change.
Went there Saturday afternoon. Was met with a grumpy, sour faced, older guy with a grey beard that was very rude and didn't want to be there. Terrible service. He needs to do everyone a favour and get another job where he doesn't deal with people. I spend a lot of money on spare parts. I won't be back!
They have what you need but the service is very average, make you feel like your interrupting them, not very welcoming.
Their staff have an incredible attitude problem and are aggressive towards customers. Whatever happened to service. Totally un-Australian. Avoid this branch. If they are a reflection of REPCO as a brand, then stay away from REPCO full stop. If I was REPCO, I’d cancel their license for being totally rude to customers.
The best staff they put my windscreen wiper blades on and I didn't even ask them its hard to get great service like that these days. Somerton Park store
Went for a replacement rear windscreen wiper, got great service. The staff member that served me removed the old one, selected the right replacement and went and fitted it to my car.
Fantastic service, price was best I could find and very proffesional staff with an extremely speedy delivery highly recommended.
Absolutely disgusted by the treatment I received at this store, so much so that I walked out and purchased a new car battery at SUPER CHEAP (service was excellent here) even though Repco had 20% off car batteries, after being treated so badly I much rather pay the higher price elsewhere.
Not usually one for reviews, however I endured the worst customer service experience of my life at this store, so here goes.
I was asked if I had a mask by the staff, I told them politely that I had a medical exemption AND PRESENTED IT!
Two of the staff (short, overweight, bald man in particular) began to aggressively verbally abuse me, for DESPITE presenting a VALID MEDICAL EXEMPTION, not wearing a mask. Honestly, it felt like this guy was looking for a physical fight. I have never in my life been spoken to so poorly and aggressively by a retail worker.
Still in disbelief actually that this happened, just an absolutely appalling experience. This guy was behaving like an angry old drunk at a pub looking to cause trouble, not a retail assistant.
Zero respect for the customer. I have shopped at this store for ten years as it is my local, but will never be back, and will spread the word.
Usually have most parts you need, if not try to find the part, Guys are friendly and easy to approach. And my fav the use of my RAA card for a few Bucks off.
If they don't have it they will try to get it or they will advise I don't necessarily like buying online it can be difficult
Always great, friendly service with a great range of products. Went here to get some windscreen wiper blades and the guy helped us get the correct ones and explained how to install them. Really approachable and helpful.
Has variety of parts, good Customer service.fair prices.i save alot with their regular promotions
Good options if you know what you want. Sometimes a little bit hit and miss if your a DIY and need someone to help you improvise or need some silly questions answered.
Times have changed since the 80s and 90s when you could fix nearly anything with nearly anything.
I received more help than I expected learnt something I didn't know and all because they appear to love what they are doing there they are so nice that now when I think (About it) it's annoying that management should put up a clear shield for them so they don't get a cold from customers then I can't keep using their fantastic friendly service
My father who is nearly 80 called Repco in the morning to put a hold on some oil. When he arrived to pick it up, the staff member at the counter said that he had sold it to someone else. Is this Repcos policy? My dad said he will never go to that store again. If you call a store to hold something, they will almost always put it on hold for you.
