Remarkable Rocks reviews
25It is a beautiful place with scenic views. Traveling to this place was ok. If you are visiting Sealbay, this is a must visit place for photos.
Pretty big rocks on a cliff top - great view but really vivid colours. Nice chilled out spot.
Worth the long road trip. Both teens and adults enjoyed the scenery.
️Best to bring an esky with drinks and snacks to Remarkable Rock and Admirals Arch as there is not shops on the way at last 100 km.
Amazing rock formations, totally aced the weather conditions. Kangaroo Island tours, highly recommended.
Great area to to sea the different rocks and the view around it. One rock made me think of angry birds and mighty eagles lair haha
These rock formations certainly deserve their name! Truly remarkable and well worth the visit. Amazing view of the surrounding Southern ocean as well:)
A highlight place to visit on KI. We visited late in the day and had the place to ourselves. Short stroll from the car park to the formation. The walkway is wheelchair accessible.
Absolutely worth the trip on KI. This was the first thing on our list and it just blew us away. One can’t except such a natural beauty in the remotest peak corners of the world.
It's an interesting spot, really peculiar rocks you can climb or do a couple of silly pics. We saw kids really enjoying them.
These rocks are both stunning and remarkable! We were there at sunset, so there was nobody else around to get in my photos. Done of the Kangaroo Island sights have changed their opening hours since the first of 2020, so I don't know if they are normally open that late.
Growing up in Scotland with everything Granite, it was a sight to see and brought back good memories of being a kid. The boulders are just insane in size.
One of those place where the artist is the nature and the nature only. Beautiful natural sculpture.
Just amazing to see, well worth a visit, just sad that the 2019 /2020 Bush fires destroyed everything else in the national park. But they are doing a great job of replanting and rebuilding.
Awesome place since love rocks. It is awesome how nature has shaped this huge sculptures!
A bit of a walk to get there but it is fine, probably not the best place to visit during rain or cold weather.
I would say it can be risky if you don't follow the safety signs. When the rock is wet gets a bit slippery.
Also, with better light you will be able to take better photos, unfortunately for me that day was quite cloudy.
Amazing! Seeing how the wind, rain, and sea air have weathered these rocks and formed them into what they are over thousands of years, worth a trip to see them if you are on the island. If you are on the eastern side of the island it's a good day trip and takes longer to drive there and get around and back than you think.
Stunning rocks! Against a gorgeous ocean backdrop. We had fun climbing over them and taking photos and we were just two adults
What can I really say, they're rocks.they're good for little kids to run around on yet be careful with them since it's right near the edge of a cliff and could be life threatening. The rocks look pretty nice and there are plenty photo opportunity for all your Instagram and other needs.
One of the most incredible geological formations that I have ever witnessed (even more so than Urulu). As with most spots on Kangaroo Island, you will have plenty of breathtaking panoramic scenic views to enjoy.
Don’t forget to take a break from taking a million photos and video recordings, close your eyes and just enjoy the atmosphere and nature.
Tips! As you leave the parking lot there are two approaches to the Remarkables. One on the right past the toilets on a wooden footpath and one straight ahead on a dirt road. I personally recommend that you go via the wooden footpath as that will take you past several informative placards that will explain how this formation came to be.
Short walk to super interesting rock formations and beautiful sweeping views of the ocean. Go first thing in the morning and you’ll have the place to yourself.
