This place is a joke. Ordered a click and collect for a child’s birthday 2 weeks in advance. Told it would be ready in one week. Keep calling- no answer and they don’t return calls. No gift for my kid on her birthday. Call the day of her birthday to be told it arrived 3 days ago (nobody told me and still not built). Go to collect today and waiting 15 minutes for the staff to work out how to use the eftpos machine and ignore my husband simply trying to pick up an item paid for over 2 weeks ago.

Friendly, expert service with great attention to detail. Both Tim and Georgie took time to really understand our context, to ensure we had the right bikes and accessories for our needs. There was no pushy salesmanship either. I'd absolutely recommend Reid Adelaide for all your cycling needs.

Had a service booked 3 weeks in advanced, took the bike in on the booked day only to be told by a very unhelpful staff that it couldn’t be done today. I drove from the Barossa for this and they didn’t even contact me to reschedule.
I even emailed to complain about my experience and they didnt respond.

Don’t bother with this store. Such a shame because the Reid shop and staff in Sydney are so much better.

Today I wandered down to Reid Cycles in Adelaide and bought myself a fixed gear bike to spin around our city. Whilst I was once an avid and experienced rider, I hadn't cycled since the beginning of the pandemic (formerly lived in Melbourne), and I was back to being a novice at all things bikes.

I knew I wanted a fixed gear but, I was also interested in a commuter bike, so I wanted to use the team member at Reid as my sounding board. After speaking with Tim at the store, he explained the differences between each of the fixed gear bikes Reid stocked, offered for me to take them for a spin (I decided not to try it and just bought the one I wanted) and adjusted the seat height to ensure the frame size was matched to my height.

Tim answered all the questions I had about each individual part, and understood that I'd probably customize the bike with some custom bars, rims, etc.in future, so he explained the sizes and how it would work with standard sizes for each part.

I opted for the Reid Blackhawk Fixie as it had the best frame, great build quality, and could be single gear or fixed gear. Tim and Saleem checked and tightened the bikes brakes, pumped the tires, and installed some additional items I purchased too.

Overall a great experience with both Tim and Saleem, and the bike so far.

I rode the Reid Blackhawk Fixie home (about 2.5kms) and it was incredible - great pace, awesome handling, and the feel between the peddle and the road is so much better on a fixie than a geared bike. Great experience, no regrets, and an awesome bike:)

Great service by young person that knew everything that was needed and was able to help with selection and make the process of buying a new bike a very pleasant one. The price and quality of the cycle is excellent compared to others we have looked at.

Great bike shop! Very open to questions from beginners, won't try and sell you a more expensive bike than you need. Bike set up well and rides very nice.

Very knowledgeable and accommodating staff especially the guy that has curly hair. Affordable Bicycle Accessories and Bikes as well. Definitely a 5 Star.

Had a very poor service experience with this shop unfortunately.
Wanted to support local so bought a mountain bike for our son from Reid.
Booked in a service and had it cancelled without notice so I turned up with bike and no one to service it. Too late to go elsewhere by then so left it for service later in the week. Called up to pick it up and was asked if we wanted new tires as well but they only had road tread not mountain bike. Said I'd confirm and let them know if we wanted the tires as well. Son didn't want that tread so we just turned up to collect on the weekend and they hadn't even done the service. Now we're 2 weeks behind when he actually needed the bike and still no service. Staff didn't seem to care about our unhappiness and just made excuses.
Service at other bike shops is always spot on so we definitely won't be going back or recommending this store to anyone else.

Picked up a Reid CX Cyclocross today. After pre-ordering the bike, it arrived early. The staff are friendly and after riding the bike home I can safely say I can't wait for the many adventures to come.

The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I’d let them service my bike any day of the week.

Spoke to a legend over the phone (if I remember correctly his name was Kieren) about a bike within the range; he was honest about the product and lead me in the direction of a more suitable bike which was also a newer model for the same price. 4 months into ownership and I've had no problems with the bike and it's amazing to ride! (Commuter LE)

Great customer service, very good bikes for reasonable price! Over the years we bought 4 bikes from Reid Adelaide, very happy with purchase, and guys are always nice and helpful. With each purchase we received free bike's lock and lights, which is nice to get something for free:) Highly recommend:)

I’m by far no pro cyclist but the cyclocross cx is like a rolls Royce on two wheels it’s by far the coolest bike I have ever owned. I’m pretty rough too I’m known to snap pedals and chains etc but after riding this bike for over a few hundred km so far I’m happy to say it passes my brute test. Look out here I come.beep beep ️

Love the Reid bikes have one myself, great quality for how much they cost. But they should consider bringing the Vice FS bikes back.

Purchased a gravel bike here last year, super friendly and helpful staff. Was a great experience.

I was there this morning to buy a bike for myself as a senior citizen after not having ridden since my early teens.

When I saw the Sage coloured vintage classic plus ladies bike with the charming rattan basket, it was love at first sight! Only $300 and comes with free lights and 2 free service.

The young man with the curly hair and spectacles was so friendly and helpful and gave me all the advice I needed.

It was a very pleasant experience and I love my new bike!

Order not ready for pickup even after they emailed me that it was ready for pickup and asked me to leave empty handed.took me an hour to get to their store. Providing false information. Bad customer service. Never going to buy anything from this store.

The worst bike company to deal with rode my alpha fatbike mountain bike down a embankment and bent the forks and I asked them for the warranty as it's a life time warranty but they are denieing my warranty for misuse of bike so in there eyes just riding a bike is misuse

Reply to comments it's funny that the ppl I've spoke to have said that it is a manufacturer fault and don't claim to advertise all terrain bikes when ya clearly lie about that so when I get around to you will more then likely be seeing me in court

Reid had the bike I wanted in stock, they were professional and knowledgeable about what options I should consider.
The price was very good.
