As a carer role applicant, I jumped through all their hoops eg sap forms - despite emailing all referees as also requested! Then told the forms never came through! NO confirmation number yet screen changed said it all went thru! It was just assumed that I had done the wrong thing! In fact it was the sap software! They jump to incorrect conclusions and make ludicrous HURTFUL assumptions- even hr has no interest in helping! Phoned and told 'oh HR don't actually take inquiries! What arrogance! REALLY UNFAIR UNJUST DISTRESSING and DEPRESSING being FALSELY ACCUSED and treated with such contempt! Shows their employees NOT VALUED! Must be why they need new staff every 3 months! Ads always on seek-

Great place to work. All the RNs, clinical team, management are very good and supportive. Kitchen, maintenance, laundry, lifestyle, admin and clinical team are all so good at their work.

Since Dad moved into Regis 4 months ago, we've been continually impressed by levels of care & communication shown by all levels of staff and management. Particularly happy with the maximum practicable level of independence afforded to residents.
Specifically, congratulations to the whole team for successfully suppressing a recent Covid outbreak with minimal additional infections and completion of lockdown, all within 3 weeks and without detriment to our father's demeanour. We appreciated regular, clear communication of current status to family. Brilliant.

I do not recommend this place at all. In our experience my mother was not assessed by anyone before placing her in the low memory unit. The conditions were disgusting and as mum my said a jail would’ve been cleaner and better. No follow up by anyone in the time she was there. Very unhygienic, the bathroom was not cleaned and she wore the same clothes for up to 4 days. Mum deteriorated whilst she was there until we removed her to a much better place. You should be reported for your incompetence in all aspects. We were told this would be looked at and it only got worse. DO NOT think about putting your loved ones into Regis they sugar coat everything, no care respect for the residents it’s all about taking your money. Think carefully before making a decision in this place. We are very distraught that our mother had to endure this type of treatment. If I could give them a negative star rating it would be more appropriate. Clean up your act and show sympathy & empathy to those who need it the most.

I recently had my placements with Regis Burnside as as EN Student and i feel it was my pleasure to learn from them. All staff was friendly and i enhanced my clinical skills under their guidance. I spent two weeks with them and every day l learned new things from them. I hope if i get a chance to work with them.

Nice place to work at. Been with Burnside for nearly 12 years. Every staff being helpful, cheerful, friendly, treat everyone respectfully and professionally. Huge growing opportunity for staff, ongoing provide support and education for staff. Resident seem happy, commented “this is my home”. Highly recommended this facility to all.

Regis Burnside is both a lovely place for staff to work and for residents to live. A beautiful 5 Star Aged Care Facility with an extremely high standard of care. I would not hesitate in recommending it to all my family and friends.

My family toured Regis and near by facilities, this was by far the standout. The manager was happy to spend time with us to discuss services and process for admission, finances etc. The home was well presented, clean, no 'nursing home' smell, staff well presented and friendly. My family member admits in a few weeks time and we are looking forward to the stay.

I have worked in the aged care industry for over 20 years now in many different roles and facilities. I have found Regis Burnside to be at the top of my list. The staff are all very friendly, caring and accommodating to all that walk through it's doors. The residents all seem very happy and love to chat with the staff whenever they walk past. I would highly recommend this facility to any of my friends for placement of loved ones. Well done to all.

I have to say that the staff make this place great. Althought they are all great Mum does have her 'favourites' and they treat her so well. They know what clothes she likes to wear and help her with her make up and jewellery. Mum really feels at home and considers the staff her new family.

I recently had a very positive experience visiting Regis Burnside. The new facilities and amenities are fantastic. I overheard some residents raving about how it really does feel like a home. Very impressed with I have seen.

Following a Respite stay for my dad, we have nothing but good things to say. Staff are wonderful and helpful, the facility itself is beautiful (dad even had a manicure). The food is lovely and of a high quality. Management team are friendly and are happy to chat. If the time comes again, we would be happy to go back.

Please think twice about putting someone in this facility. The place looks lovely but the staff have appallingly low levels of nursing training. When my father was placed here the nurses were told he was at high risk of stroke as he had been taken off his blood thinning medications due to a medical issue. And yet within a period of just 13 days the nursing staff failed to recognise when he had symptoms of stroke (sudden loss of speech and comprehension, difficulty using one hand) on no less than 3 seperate occasions! They were reluctant to call for a doctor or an ambulance and only did so when myself and my mother insisted on it. My father was having a serious brain bleed and required surgery.
I was shocked that the staff here were so completely unable to recognise something which must surely be common in elderly patients. Even basic first aid training would cover this.

I’ve recently had a tour to know Regis Burnside. I went there with some relatives, all of us remained very positively impressed with the facility. From what we could see and heard from the residents they were very happy with the care service and the friendly and helpful staff. When and if the time comes I would be happy to live there. And by now I can highly recommend the place.

My wife recently entered Burnside after a fall which meant I coldn't no long take care of her at home. I can't say enough about how good the nurses have been looking after her. She's fussy eater and raves about the food - saves me some if I visit after tea and I gotta say she's right. Had some initial settling in problems which were quickly fixed by the home's manager. The care folk are incredible - they clearly know how to look after people and are always there for her when I can't be. Keep up the good work Regus.
