ReGEN Op Shop reviews
11The new location on Tolley Rd is great. Easy parking and plenty of room inside for all the donated goods. Prices are always good, stock ever-changing and volunteers helpful.
Do u have any recent photos, new shop locality etc.do u go dwn an alley/ driveway off tolley? Have missed my drop offs n pop ins! Thabkyou
Clean and well presented inside but way over priced. Call it what you will. Opportunity or Second Hand Shop.it's all donated items you got given to you.
Absolutely terrible customer service.
My wife was shopping here and located a pair of shoes for our 4 year old daughter that were in a $3 section. When she got to the checkout the lady told my wife it had been priced wrong. My wife told them it had been in the $3 section and asked why was it put there if they weren't priced that way.
The manager became involved and yelled at her telling someone made a mistake, argued over the fact that it was an 'Opportunity Shop' rather than an 'Second hand Shop', became angry when my wife asked her to calm down and treat one another with respect. Eventually my wife became upset and cried, and the manager went on to accuse her of putting on the water works when she cried.
All in all an absolutely horrible experience for my wife.
If I could give 0 stars I would.
Great op-shop when sales are on. Always finding a treasure and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
I've been shopping here since it was The Sunflower Shop in Ridgehaven, 20 years. Congrats to Gloria and the volunteers on a great little shop. I've noticed lately the prices are going up. Many hardware items and tools are priced similar to new ones from Bunnings. It does make me wonder if this shop is losing sight of the "op" in op-shop, or maybe the blokes doing the pricing on tools etc, have themselves become opportunistic? Volunteers must be at loggerheads over pricing because the pricing is often reduced back to a realistic price by a kindly checkout operator. The grumpy hand written notes on prices saying "FIRM" are a bit of a let down. I never bargain a price when set in an op shop, but the pre-emptive strike by writing FIRM all over everything hints at an angry mentality and one that has put me off going there. I used to donate a lot here, but I never see it on the shelves. I know some of my books went to St Agnes book exchange because they were inscribed and I shopped there too! Any pilferers look out! I'm onto you!
Nice Op Shop with decent pricing, I don’t know why some in here complain about the price, seriously have you seen what Salvos are charging? !? ! I bet you’re one of those who happily pay full asking price at Salvia yet when it comes to this independent op shop you whinge that they’re hiked up their stuff! Something that I disagree on. I bought an everlast singlet for 2 bucks! Unlike a salvos I know they would’ve charged me 5 bucks for it easily.so I got no complaints
Not as cheap as they use to be? Charity shop I know, more info where money goes would be good idea
Fantastic little shop. Prices are great. Everyone is friendly. 100% run by volunteers. Always have sales making things even more affordable.
A true local shop that supoorts local community and charity groups. This little gem of a shop is a treasure trove of new and pre-loved items and is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Well worth a visit!
A genuinely cheap op shop with some good quality goods (plus of course the usual odd things that you don't want or need or even know what they are!).
Friendly staff who happily chop the price too.
