Red Rooster

Thought whole chicken, gravy, chips &coleslaw can't go wrong.but coleslaw average &gravy still just as unpleasant as it was decades ago. Red Rooster you need to change your recipe.

Red Rooster Mount Gambier is a great fast food restaurant. The service is quite fast, the workers are really nice and the prices aren't too bad. Its a great way for a last minute pick me up and a great yummy meal.

Burger looked like it was slapped together and chicken fell out when opened, was not very nice at all, won't go there again.

Waited 15 mins for chips and then when I got my burger it had 2 strip's of chicken in it not a pattie. Have sent feedback about this and had nothing back very poor

Dissatisfied with my food. Satisfy box ordered. All chicken wings. Where is the variety and fairness in that. Was told i had too wait 15 minutes as they were cooking more chips. Finally got my order and they were stone motherless cold. For 16 bucks this is unacceptable. Ra to u. Will go elsewhere.

The chickens are really small as you can see from the photo.
The staff was yelling and rude which made the service bad.
No apology from the staff when I show them how small thier chickens are.
I would not even give a star.

Gives the competition a run for their money, a great alternative. Plentiful menu options. Chicken was very fresh and not too oily, it had an awesome crunch. Burgers include cheese and were equally as good. Would definitely come back and one to consider.

From Portland Victoria came through to red rooster and both me and my partners first Time here, the food was amazing and the customer service was amazing, very polite energetic lady came to serve from out the back just shows how good of team work this place has. Great work

Wrong order completely.chicken tenders (which were old and disgusting) instead of chicken pieces in both meals, cold chips. Nearly 30dollars wasted.

Drive through experience with Cooper was excellent. Well spoken, polite and friendly. Well done.

2 cars in drive then me, waited nearly 30 minutes, couldn't change a classic roast, wanted chips and not roast potatoes, ordered side of chips, cold as. Ordinary. Don't know what's happened, but gone down hill.

It's. Fast food, I don't expect a lot so not disappointed, like most the food is hit miss I don't know what's needed to get everyone on the same page,

Food was fresh and hot like everywhere starting to gett dear but better than thr other chicken place

If you love spicy chicken, then you are at the right place. I love both types of fried chicken they offer. Also the whole chicken is very reasonable. They provide both in store and drive through delivery. Also got indoor and outdoor sitting arrangement. Can be accessed through commercial st and Jubilee Highway. Staff are friendly. Not very busy most of the time.highly recommended.

Went through drive through despite order being repeated and confirmed and also at drive through pick up window and confirmed, upon arrival at home items were missing despite being charged for them

I personally think they do great food. Possibly even better than KFC. Yes that's a hot take and I stand by it.

I've once had a problem with an order being wrong but they were quite happy to fix me up for it. I definitely recommend.

The staff behind the counter were friendly and quick to take my order, but bickering over who was doing the cleaning.

I expressed with a photograph of my purchase receipt and the plastic I bit in to in my food only for management/franchisee to reply by stating they required a photo?
And would replace my original purchase, no statement of staff being notified which is all I wanted.
And as I said I attached the photo!

Have not been for more than a year and tasted just as good as it always is

Disappointed went at lunch time Christmas eve for 1 chicken and they had none unless you preordered disappointing from a chicken shop.
