An incredibly thorough service, they went above and beyond to provide me with any and all information regarding any issues with the property. Im very happy with their end summary paper work, filled me in on even minor issues that needed to be fixed or adjusted.

Missed a very obvious defect in a backward sloping flashing which cost me over 15k to repair. Very easily accessed, there’s no excuse it was also visible inside once you start looking. They won’t take responsibility. They’ll play games until you can’t be bothered persuing. Not the first time I suspect.

Great Quick service. A bit too much emphasis on all the other inspections they think we should do to protect their butts on opinions

I rang Rapid Building Inspections to inspect a newly constructed property of mine however I was very specific that I required an inspection in regards to moisture ingress I had from the slab of my homes. I made it very clear to both the phone operator during the time of booking as well as the inspector who came to visit. At the end when the report was compiled there was actually very little mentioned about the moisture problem and it was just a generic inspection report Which I DID NOT NEED. The report is actually very basic and it cannot be used as any evidence against bad builder workmanship. The inspectors themselves also do not seem to have much knowledge about specific issues. I made further calls to the inspector directly (who although provided me with a secondary report it still was not clear or detailed enough to use as evidence) as well as the company and they showed zero interest in actually helping. Waste of money! I gave up and hired another inspector who did what I asked properly.

I found their service to be A1. I understand that they are required to clinical with their wording. But it would be nice to have layman’s terms in the report.

I called around 5pm one evening for a building/pest inspection within 48 hours and they went and inspected the property at 10am the next morning!

At first glance of my report, I was impressed. That is until I realised the roof cavity wasn't inspected. I contacted the inspector who advised he "didn't have the correct ladder". There is no excuse regarding the ladder because a 3.6m ladder (as stated in Rapid's inspection policy) could have allowed access with no issue. This level of laziness resulted in the electrician (who was employed afterwards) locating bare copper exposed cable, a rat infestation and non-compliant cabling. I contacted Rapid Adelaide and specifically wrote an email to the manager Brian Reynolds almost 2 weeks ago which has been ignored, as have my phone calls and messages. It is so damn hard to find people who can do their job properly these days. Extremely disappointed in the level of service and lack of accountability. Once Rapid has your money, don't expect to hear from them again.

RBI was quick & easy. The prices were upfront and I got a inspection and detailed report the next day. The inspector also ran through his report with me over the phone.

From the start it was really fast and easy to arrange the inspection even though I had a short time frame and had to do it remotely. All the staffs I interacted with showed fantastic commitment to customer satisfaction and dedication to their work.
Despite having four parties involved in the process (Brisbane office, inspector in South Australia, the agent and myself), there was always great communication and everything went smoothly and as scheduled.
The report itself was very detailed with lots of pictures. I called the inspector t make sure I understood some of the points listed and discuss the options to address them. He was very helpful and took the time to explain in detail.
