Rangeview Caravan and Cabin Park

Drove in and straight out again, terrible looking place, run down and my wife refused to stay there. Suggest you drive past without stopping.

Run down but clean amenities. Crumbling buildings and no on site manager. Lots of permanent residents. Sites are level and drive thru

Would not recommend especially as a solo traveller there is no accountability or any one at the office, (I booked online for a unpowered site) when I tried to call 3 times I received no answer, so I ended up staying somewhere else. (Didn't feel safe) Definitely would not recommend.

The cabin was clean and tidy, the cabin could do with a extra rug, had to leave the air-conditioning on all night to keep warm and it was very noisey when it cut in and out kept waking us up, the shower floor water didn't drain away properly so it was running on to floor were you stand to dry yourself, just a few minor things, our stay was pleasant

Very dirty bathroom, lots of bugs in there
The campsite kitchen is dirty and rusty
There is no staff on site
Would not recommend to stay here

I stayed at Rangeview last night. Although the place is rather run down, it is still good value for money. Staff are friendly. Right on the highway so rather noisy at night.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The new owners were very helpful and are already starting to upgrade the facilities. Love the view of the Southern Finders, especially at dusk. The cabins are super quaint, comfy beds, very clean. Great drive through sites for caravans. A good base for exploring the region!

Stayed here with family, liked the caravan sites shaded by trees with the Flinders in the background. The park has an outback / bush camp feel which suited us more than the ones in town. A good location for a stopover or exploring the coastal Flinders.

Lots of character, l liked the drive through caravan site, my dog was welcome, the amenities were clean with excellent showers. Great location to visit Port Pirie and the Southern Flinders Ranges. Friendly, very helpful management.

So glad we stayed here at the end of a week holidaying in the area. The new management team was really friendly, the drive-through sites made it easy to park the van and the views of the Flinders Ranges were fantastic. Will definitely stay here again.

Stopped over for two nights. Lots of refurbishment going on as noted below, though this didn't impact at all,
- good to see it happening. Amenities were well looked after. Ranges view is great. Bit of road noise in the van, though because they're rolling at speed it's just a hum as it goes by. Wasn't an issue. Look forward to seeing the outcome of the rebuild next time.

We stayed here for 2nights, one of the kitchen chairs was broken and a danger to sit on, upon entry there was mouse poo on one the chairs (should have been removed, even if they recovering from a mouse plauge), not enough toilet paper was supplied initially, the dust pan was filthy, the garbage bin self lift bin lid not operational and was dirty.

We thank them for being pet friendly (that's good).
The carpets should be replaced due to the smell of mice, this made breathing hard.
There was also some blood like stain on the curtain division.
Really speaking I believe this place needs a renovation.

We have stayed at Rangeview Caravan Park for many years. Old but clean amenities Block. Friendly staff.

Wow what a slice of Kitsch heaven. Original 50s architecture with the original fixtures and fittings etc etc
Aircon bathroom and amazing desert gardens.
Ideal for Adelaide hoooomans looking for a short 3hr drive to experience comfort and excellent service. Thanks Izzy

Spacious, pleasant sites, bit of road noise due to Highway 1 being close by but had a pleasant night & road noise did not intrude very much.

Dog friendly. Vern, the owner, also friendly and helpful. Clean but tired amenities. Camp kitchen with microwave, kettle, sink and fridge. Clean and good if you're looking to get the dishes done quickly.

Excerlent service very friendly and helpful. Great facilities. Lovely views. Just ashame that the traffic noise wasn't great for us if u can cope with traffic excerlent place

Clean & well maintained facilities in a budget park. Great value for power/water caravan sites.
