Randell Park Trails reviews
13Excellent place for walking. However the locals stopped car and asked if we are lost. It's an elitist area
Great place to take your dog and get a great view of the city.watch out for mountain bikes though
I went for a walk around Randell Park. It was exactly what I wanted something close to home where I can get away and lost in nature. I enjoyed the walk and will be back again predominately because of the convenience of how close to home this space is.
Awesome walking and riding trail on offer here, first time checking it out with the pooch and neither of us were disappointed. Such a nice little amenity for the locals, provides a sweet burst of wilderness for people living not too far away from the city proper, can def recommend
Gentle hiking tracks, shared with mountain bikers. Quite busy. Vistas of Adelaide and surrounds. Walked up to Belair in roughly 30min.
The Randell Park is a mixture open and forested hilly terrain next to suburbia. Untouched it is now, but it does the history of the Adelaide foothills with quarries, cleared and deforested spaces. Great for a walk with easy or more intense options.
Great place for a hike or ride but stick to the well maintained trails as volunteers are working hard to improve the biodiversity in this reserve.
I especially like the 100m uphill climb. For a bit of a work out and easy way to get the heart pumping I go up and down twice and then do the easier walks. Great views all around.
Heaps of trails of all sorts - bike / walk. Lots of shortcut / longcut options. Some trails bike only, some walk only. Check the map on Mitchum council’s website first. We ended up walking on a bike trail, sorry fellas.
Needed more time to explore. Few people around in a weekday so better chance to interact with wildlife
Shared use trails are great, particularly for cross-country mountain biking. Is part of the Mitcham trail system.
As of 18/5/2018 great mountain bike trails under construction & plenty of scenic walking trails
Favourite trails in adelaide as they provide varied terrain for hiking. Also there are many secret trails around with old relics and quarries from the areas mining days.
