We just happened across this place on a Tuesday, no one was in there. We didn't have high expectations, although within a first few minutes the waiter turned our expectations around. Such a lovely man, the level of effort and care he put in waiting on us is what motivated me to write this review. Didn't even claim the discount for reviewing. As the night went on you realise the effort the owners have put in to decorating and providing a extensive menu, and if you've got a craving for Indian food, this place will definitely scratch that itch. Highly recommend for a great priced meal, they've got themselves a returning customer.

After reading the reviews we were very disappointed on our first and last visit.
There was no warm welcome when we arrived and the service was very poor, not even a smile from the waitress.
I have never had chicken tikka cooked with thigh which wasn’t the best. The jalfriezi wasn’t spicy and food average, nothing special.

Delicious lunch. Butter chicken was amazing as was the lamb Rogan Josh and chicken rendang. Highly recommend. Generous portions.

I've been to the Raj on Taj in Hyde Park before, and I think the Hutt Street one is even better! Placed a big takeaway order, and they were very friendly, took care of the order with no issues, and everyone was really happy with the dishes. Very tasty, authentic, and without that greasiness you can get from some of the cheaper Indian restaurants.

Definitely recommend the rogan josh, and giving these guys a try:)

Had the garlic and cheese naan, lamb briyani and tandoori chicken tikka masala. Enjoyed the food. Good ambience and good service.

Ordered butter chicken. If that was butter chicken I'm a god damn ghostbuster. Some orange disgusting.mess.

Popped in for takeaway and got the lunch special. The staff are friendly, I'd asked for some suggestions and chose the beef Madras which was delicious, full of flavour and was thoroughly enjoyed with rice and potato and cauliflower spiced veg.

Had a takeaway from Hutt Street restaurant on 4/4. Really fast service and delicious hot food. Very fresh and tasty all round. We had a fairly small order but all dishes were great veg Samoa, saag paner, daahl, garlic naan, popadoms, small rice but had a small amount of left overs. Can't wait to eat in when we can. And definitely will be back to try more dishes!

This has to be the worst Indian restaurant in Adelaide. We ordered 2 curries with 5 naans and rice. Both the curries were full of sweetness as if the curry was made out of Jalebi.both had so much food colour in them, we felt like puking. Rice were low quality and naans were hard.avoid this place if you can.

Edit - Are you kidding me? Does mild mean sweet and full of food colour? Your food was disgusting and you should refund us for ruining our evening.

We stepped in here for lunch and we're warmly welcomed and seated. Pappas was served immediately (crunchy and fresh). We opted for the Chilli Chicken and Garlic naan and we're more than happy. It was a sumptuous and tasty meal.
Thanks for the wonderful service.

Last minute decision to dine here and glad I did
Although being recently newly opened everything seemed to go seamlessly. Ordered the chilli cheese naan, goat vindaloo (on the bone) and navratan korma. The food was delicious and the goat meat was tender and tasty. Would have liked the vindaloo a bit spicier as I asked for it.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming
On paying what I liked was the waitress read out the bill and the price to check if everything was correct
Will definitely be back

Food is pretty good, the best taste Indiana curry in Adelaide, but environment looks a little bit simple. Worth to try!
