We would definitely recommend Rainwise to anyone wanting prompt service, tidy tradesmen, excellent aftercare and most importantly… a top quality pool. They made the entire process enjoyable without any delays.

We had a pool installed by Rainwise Pools in August 2021 and having recently enjoyed our first few swims this year, I wanted thank the team at Rainwise for the great experience we had when buying our new pool last year.

We have wanted a pool for many years but have been put off by stories of bad experiences, poor workmanship and concerns of having to maintain a pool.

Our first experience with Rainwise was meeting Ross Starkey, he answered all of our questions, explained the entire installation process and outlined the benefits of the automatic chlorination systems and robotic cleaners available that take the worry out of maintaining a pool. He was extremely generous with his time and there was no hard sell or pushing to sign a contract on the day, as we had experienced with other companies.

Once we made the decision to purchase, the communication with Ross and the Rainwise team was excellent. We were kept up to date with everything. All the trades, from excavation through to the handover were extremely professional and the quality of workmanship was second to none.

We also opted to install an inverter heat pump, this was one of the best decisions we could have made, last year we swam from early October through to late April 22 with the water at a very swimmable 27 degrees.

Very happy with our Rainwise experience!

Righto - pool is finished

a run down on the issues that we faced - and are still facing, while dealing with rainwise

note: we are currently having to chase rainwise up regarding a failed heat pump

we were told when we purchased from rainwise that they handle all warranty claims in house and nothing to worry about, well not exactly, we have been handballed off to a repairer and having to chase them up to either repair or replace the heat pump - same same - poor customer service and we are again having to chase them up.while also having a pool that is stone cold.try explain that to a 3 year old.

1. The pool was installed without council approval, we have had to chase rainwise up regarding this and they were unresponsive.we received no apology, only told how it’s not that big of a deal and its the complicated council portal’s fault- well its not our first rodeo and the portal is actually very easy to use, you just need to remember to actually apply for approval!

2. The so called “professional clean” of the pool and hand over, there is still dolemite in the bottom of the pool, not sure we will be paying the $500 for that one, guy was a contractor too, no interest in doing a proper handover, just keen to get out of there for the day.

3. Communication - as expected, once we made the bulk progress payment, pretty much all response to emails and phone calls stopped, we are having to chase them up daily,

the “project manager” completely stopped responding to calls and emails as soon as the bulk payment was made.

4. Handover - know one has actually came out and checked the final installation, are you guys happy with the instal, a pool is a substantial investment and rainwise appears to be simply installing as many pools as they can, and the customer service and responsiveness is proof of that

5. Handover - multiple items not supplied, light controller, cleaning gear, chemicals, yep and still no contact from the company asking if we are happy with the pool

6. Heat pump - we paid extra for a top discharge unit that has now failed twice with around 100 hours on it, we will see how they handle warranty claims

7.rainwise sold the pool as being a mineral pool - but the chemicals that were supplied were insufficient to turn it into a mineral/ magnesium pool, by about 80%

few hundred dollars later at the pool shop buying more minerals- and we finally have our mineral pool

8.damage to the front pavers where a pile of dolemite was unloaded, then when they filled the pool, the water truck sprayed water all over the dollemite, staining the pavers, tried chemicals and multiple pressure washes, its there for good.

Make your own mind up, we might be the accept-ion, but this has proven to be a challenging relationship -

my advice would be to be cautious about paying progress payments- as soon as we paid the bulk payment, all responses to phone calls or emails stopped

These guys are great. Always give good service. They installed my pool around four years ago. Their after sales service is spot on, and the free water testing is awesome.
Highly recommend these guys for any of your pool needs

Very sad to say we wouldn't recommend this company again, after it was all installed the council came around to inspect and the filter and pool pump position didn't meet council regulations. After almost 12months of numerous phone calls and emails they finally arranged their installers to move the pump. Once the job was done we find out the original location we wanted the pump ect could of been done from the beginning and was only a 2hour job.we were told that they would come back again for the inconvenience over the past 12months so we were 100% satisfied.to then wait another 6months and be told it will cost us $600 after we have already spent $45,000. Apparently they aren't making money off it.so disappointing when we were trying to support a family business.

From our initial meeting with Ross right through to pool completion, we have found everyone that we have dealt with to be highly professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and friendly.
We have been so impressed with the high level of service offered, including the pool builders, fence construction, paving builders and solar heating installation.
Every part of our pool build was seamless and we now have a magnificent pool to enjoy with our family and friends.
We are so appreciative of Rainwise’s care provided and we would highly recommend their service.

Darren and the team have provided fantastic customer service, and have always been very proactive and very easy to speak to for guidance, advice, and general information. A wonderful family business - it's been a pleasure to meet all of their team.

We signed our pool contract in Sept and by the 1st week of October we had our pool in our backyard and filled with water. Considering this is a busy time for all pool builders, I thought this was quite remarkable. Within the next 4-6 weeks or so (minus pavers delivery delays from Urban Stone and our family being away on holiday), our pool was completed and handed over to us. My experience with Rainwise was nothing short of satisfying, from Ross the Sales Manager and Tim the Project Manager to Darren the owner of the company and all the young men who work for them. They were all very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Special shoutout to Tim who always answered all my calls and returned my texts, despite being super busy during this time of the year. This is a family owned business yet their prices are still very competitive. You get personalised service and good prices. Win-win. Would highly recommend Rainwise Clearview to anyone looking at getting a pool:)

They always say someone will be in touch, which never happens. Looks like they’re not interested for new business. Before sales service and consultation is horrible. Can’t imagine the after sales service. Won’t trust them with my money for our new pool.

Update:

In response to your response, FYI, I came in store and asked to be contacted. When that didn't happen after 2 weeks, I called the office and left my details to be contacted again, after which it still didn't happen. I haven't received any calls on the 17th Dec as you mentioned. If at all he did call, he would have left a voice message or a text message for me to return a call if I had not answered the call.
Regards.

We had our pool installed with Rainwise and the experience was good. Everything was installed per plan and they have provided very good after sale support, attending to any and all issues that we have encountered.
The only area for improvement is the speed of responsiveness on some of the issues and ability to hit the dates they have committed to, but I would say that the performance in this area is still inline with what I have experienced in other aspects of residential construction.

Pool installed approx 3 years now, heating system fixed 4 times, left with rusted gutters and down pipes, pool lights not working properly, now salt water chlorinator not working properly! Poor quality subcontractors and components, company don’t know the meaning of customer satisfaction

Be aware of the quality of these pools and equipment. We are onto our third pool lights in 18 months, our third solar pump in 2.5 years (out of warranty now apparently!), and there is a rust stain on the pool since installation which has been asked to be fixed on multiple occasions to no avail. We have given up asking. Ross and Tim are lovely guys but they can only do so much with such poor quality supplier components.

To Tim, Darren and the team at Rainwise,
Peter and I wanted to let you know how happy and grateful we are with our new Corbree Pool,
It's just stunning.
We've had such a great experience through out this whole project, everything from quoting with Tim and Darren, to Jamie the excavator driver, Brendon the crane operator, the pool installer Gary and his team, Brett and Sam, Todd from Urbanstone (what a gentleman) Dave the coping installer, Zac, who has quoted and is installing sola heating, first pool clean guy, Ian, and Declan, the other pool cleaner.and lastly Tim doing handover with me, so informative and explained everything thoroughly.
I have dealt with all of these guys myself as Pete was at work, they also met my 90 year old Dad and all of them have been kind, respectful, patient, and informative.
Every persons professionalism is evident from their excellent quality of work to their characters,
and they all spoke highly of working with Rainwise.
Everything has gone smoothly, with any minor hitch dealt with and sorted, no problem.
Communication between myself and Tim has been awesome,
we've been kept notified of every stage.
From our end, Rainwise is both professional and organised, so easy and friendly to deal with.
We would happily recommend Rainwise to anyone interested in a great experience with a beautiful pool at the end.
Thank you, Thank you all.such a great bunch of gentlemen,
I'm in awe of this whole project.
Kindest Regards and Great Appreciation
Peter and Helen Adams

Darren and his team are a real credit to this industry. We had a tight access install and all the so called "tight access experts" would say it was too hard. With rainwise we didn't have any of those issues. Their barrow boys did a great job and the dig completed in one day. From sign up to pool in ground with water was a little over one month (all this before Christmas). They worked well with our other trades to get the pool completed. Thanks again guys. The photo speaks for itself!

Had a pool and all accessories supplied and fitted over 10 years ago. Christmas eve the pump failed. I thought I'd had a good run for this period of time so was ready to buy a new one. Somebody suggested I try a small part $50 and away it went again. I haven't even changed the paper filter or the salt water chlorinator. Everything is working excellent. I have had to change a small defrost sensor on the Electric heater, and threw the Kreepy Krawler in the bin and brought a robotic cleaner (Best Money I ever spent). Had to use a pool guy probably once a year and the maintenance and upkeep is easy. Obviously used quality stuff as I have seen other pool installations and they have been inferior. I thought this company was worth a mention, seeing my recommendation is after 10+ years of happy use of my pool.
