Very helpful staff that were very accomodating after I left my first appointment feeling upset
Very helpful staff. Entrance is available via the carpark at the back accessible via Bourn Avenue.
I recently saw a doctor at the rainforest clinic about a concerning skin spot. The doctor reacted very dramatically when he looked at it, gasping and saying loudly that it was cancer. When I didn't react he said he would have to cut it out and that it would leave a scar and held up his fingers showing about fifteen cms. When I asked if it had to be that big he smirked and said it did. I then asked what the procedure would be and he said he would inject my head and it would hurt and that he would cut it out and it would hurt. He was smirking as he said this and it seemed as though he was trying to make me upset. The whole time he was also mumbling under his mask. Whenever I asked him to repeat himself as I couldn't hear him he would just shout at me. After I left I booked in to see a doctor at a different clinic. He told me that the spot was a common BCC and he could refer me to a specialist to cut it out as they will generally do a better job, and the scar will be about 1.5cms. When I rang the rainforest clinic to cancel the procedure with the doctor they were reluctant to cancel it. I was honest and told them I was cancelling it because I did not like the doctor.
Was Left near naked in a large cold room for about 10 minutes and then doctor came in with another person and spoke about another patient whilst I was sitting there in a towel. Barely looked at the moles and I left feeling unsatisfied and unsure if he had missed something.
Mole scan - on time; thourough; prompt, professional and well informed $38 net of Medicare and 15 mins. Highly recommended for regular skin scan
10/10 for horrible stitching from their 'specialist' staff. Enjoy a life long botch job!
Booked 3 weeks in advance, they rang 3 hours before the appointment to cancel. No reason, no excuse. Very unapologetic and rude when i declined to re-book. Needed to take 2 hours leave without pay to attend this appointment, so im now $50 out of pocket. Thanks.
