Quandong Cafe reviews
28 Clean, comfortable and good amenities. Pat is a delight to communicate with. The quandong cafe next door is truly delish with good friendly service.
Highly recommend both.
What a great find in the little town of Quorn. Immaculately presented and very well equipped. Lots of unexpected inclusions. Spacious. Easy parking right in front.
Owner Pat is super easy to work with and quick to respond to emails etc.
Cannot recommend highly enough.
Thanks Pat!
Amazing 1 month stay in the Flinders apartment. Pat was a great host & was always a phone call away whenever we needed anything. The apartment had everything you could ever need and felt very homelike. It was clean and comfortable.
Highly recommend staying here and grabbing a coffee from the cafe next door.
Such a cute little cafe! The food is simple but yummy and the service is really good. I tried the quandong milkshake and it was delicious, definitely recommend that. They also have lots of yummy sweet treats like a quandong cheesecake that I get every time I come up this way.
Excellent cafe.freshly baked scones, great lunches and fantastic coffee. All of this with very friendly staff. What else would you want in a small country town.
The staff are warm as the place in the winter with firewood going! The food are great and their COVID19 protocols from the start is exceptional. A must when you visit Quorn!
Great cafe. Definitely visit if looking for a drink, snack or larger meal.
Feels very covid safe. Great selection of sweet or savoury bites. Lots of quandong options and quandong chutney in a range of meals (they even do a quandong milkshake). Reasonably priced as well. Lots of seating options (both outside and inside) from individual to larger groups.
Delicious food. Wonderful manager and staff. The State covid police have given them full marks for covid compliance. They are doing an incredible job in trying covid times. Thank you for keeping us safe and feeding us yummy food.
Happened to stop at this cafe on the way back from Flinders Ranges to get a coffee. Unlike ANY other cafe in the region this cafe had a desk across the entrance with a red STOP sign completely barring any outsider custom from entering the cafe. Only a group of ‘locals’ were allowed in while the others were left loitering outside wondering how to order a coffee. Outsiders were not even allowed to look at the food display which was inside to order something. Only reason we endured this because this cafe was the only one in the whole township and we badly needed coffee. The staffs bossy attitude towards travellers was unbearable. Covid safe is one thing and we are all thankful for what SA is doing. But this cafe clearly villifies travellers in trying to go over and above. Zero stas from me.
Fresh, seriously delicious and the staff accommodated my request, for medical reasons, to have something slightly different. Definitely worth the drive from Melrose, just for lunch!
Great country friendly hospitality and absolutely beautiful food and service. Thanks Pat and your team
Been to the Quandong Cafe at Quorn the past 2 days for lunch. Top meals and coffees. We've had hamburger, lamb Yiros, quiche and melt Railway Sleeper toastie. Iced coffee very nice also. Lovely staff to. Highly recommend.
Delightful food and great service. My slster is coeliac and the staff went to great lengths to ensure that which she had was as required.
The Quandong is a unique delectable wild fruit that grows in the Flinders Ranges and region, and how appropriate for the eponymous Quorn cafe to have it as its namesake. Over the decafes the menu has pleased locals and visitors alike, tempting us with Quandong flavoured treats and good wholesome food. I've always loved coming in to look at the collection of photo boards from the many films made in the area, and see the latest art and photos exhibited.and they know how to make a good double shot latte. Well done to all of the staff to keep the Cafe going during the tricky times of Covid, offering everyone a safe and inviting venue for coffee and meals.
Great food, coffee and compliance to COVID restrictions. Highly recommend the Quandong pie and date and nut loaf. So good!
Nice cafe, good service and the food was great. We sat outside to eat as it was a beautiful day. Such a nice vibe sitting outdoors in this cute little town.
My vegetarian patties were delicious!
Great stop for breakfast and lunch or afternoon coffee and cake. For lunch my partner and I had the bruschetta and Fettler in turkish bread and finished off with Quandong slice. All very nice and recommended. The following day we stopped by for brekky and was equally pleased with our choices of small breakfast and Quandong waffle. Service staff were friendly. If in the area do stop and support a local business. Love to come back again.
Good food, friendly service. You must try the Quondong pie with cream, its absolutely delicious.
Friendly staff. Nice and warm on a freezing day. Food great especially the great carrot cake. Don't all rush the place until we have left the town though
A great feed! Nice surroundings and fresh food, as well as delicious coffees. Highly recommend a stop in on your travels through the region. The toasted sandwiches come highly regarded by two taste testers!
