I went here today in the search of a book i’ve been struggling to find for ages.i went up to the counter where kristen was, and showed her a photo of the book cover, which she cut me off rudely, demanding id for it.i’ve never been asked for id for a book…so it was strange to me.i wasn’t old enough to buy the book, so i asked my sister to buy it for me, (which kristen suggested she was fine with). My sister was a bit annoyed she had to buy it for me considering it’s a book, and you never get id for them (well i haven’t) my sister had a tone of annoyance, but that does give ANY right for kristen to threaten to THROW the book at us.i work in customer service, and if i said that to a customer i would be fired instantly.i didn’t have a good experience when buying my first book from the marion store.i hope to see changes in the store because, i shouldn’t feel threatened to get a book thrown at me.

I went in the other day and was served by Kirsten, everytime I come in she is an absolute ray of sunshine and has the sweetest energy. She is so attentive and knowledgeable of all the stock and has always guided me in the right direction when I have been searching for something in particular. She is such a beautiful asset to the team and you can tell she has the perfect spirit for the place she works at!

Don't have enough of a choice of English history books, used to be many more, now have to buy most of my books online, sadly, hate shopping on line.

Just called by as saw front display and purchased 3 cool kids books for $10, bargain, for stocking fillers.

Carry a limited supply of books and seem to run out of stock due to their popularity!
Lack an effective replenishment system, must lose a lot of sales as a consequence! Now prefer to shop at their newly opened Rundle Mall store which appears to carry much more variety being a larger store!

Great variety of books and friendly staff. Missing a star as you can't navigate the store well with a pram or trolley

Staff Sandra was rude. I felt it was a crime to ask for a bag. The racist look that she gave me and the way she pushed my bag towards me, was an awful experience.
As a customer, if you are spending money in a store then staff at least can show some courtesy and respect but no, people think if you are shopping in their store they are doing a big favour on you.

Briana was a huge help choosing some books for my nieces and nephews! Was an absolute life saver. Amazing service and good range

Not a very large selection of cook books - not a single one on jams and preserves.
My son loves this store for all the manga though. If it wasn't for qbd he would have to travel into the city to choose bills in an actual store.
I've found many a children's gift here.
Staff are always friendly.

Since moving into their new site in the village the bakery has been able to provide seating and to display their many delicious delights. Always busy, service is quick and friendly and the coffee is as good as the food.

Love this store. Staff are always helpful and product knowledge is good. Bustling with browsers and buyers of all ages. It's nice to know people still enjoy reading paperback

Great book shop, friendly staff. Usually surprised by the stuff they have in stock - but if not they can order it in!

Shopped here right before Christmas, the shop was busy but Lauren still took time to check that customers were OK and finding what they needed and very helpful to me.
Excellent customer service by all that day and then again when I returned after Christmas. Emmanuel was lovely and patient with my children making their purchases.

Got my latest book here 'Acid For The Children' almost half price. Well stocked and categorised throughout the store. Helpful, friendly staff.

Crammed for space roaming the isles but the selection is vast, especially latest releases. Friendly, helpful staff.

Great variety of books. Good service so far. Very helpful staff. No problems yet. The aisles are a bit too small to have 2 or 3 people to walk through. No room for prams.
