Qahwa Coffee Roasters and Espresso Bar reviews
45 Unfortunately not a good experience at all! To be charged a 20% surcharge for a public holiday when Easter Saturday is not actually classed as a public Holiday. To then to be confronted by a staff member while holding a rather private conversation with friends is disgraceful. The service was very slow and we noticed a lot of orders were being sent out incorrectly. To run out of ice by lunch time on a 35deg day over the Easter break and serve people warm smoothies is just not good enough.
Zero Aircon or fans to accommodate the hot weather and Zero refreshing drinks to compensate for this.
Beautiful location and so chilled. Perfect place to play some volleyball and have some brunch. They are one of few restaurants that serve brunch after 11.
The staff are super friendly and attentive, but they got the order wrong twice
1. We ordered smashed mint avocado but was served with cutavocado instead.
2. Since I'm pregnant I wanted fried eggs welldone, we paid $5 extra to redo the eggs bit we ended up getting almost the same.
However since the the food was great and flavorful and the overall experience was great we didn't make a fuss.
Interesting little cafe, but missing some flexible options. Menu needs to be more flexible to accommodate more changes and options. The food was great.
This is the most wonderful and relaxing place to eat and spend time family next to the music of waves and play volleyball if you over eat and then eat again
Food 5/5
Location 5/5
Service 5/5
Very popular. We called in to purchase coffee beans but they didn't have any at that time. We had purchased them on a previous occasion and liked them.
Kefir was excellent! But to go back only to find the cups had shrank by almost half the size for the same price has discouraged my interest in going back. Very disappointing to see when this sort of thing happens.
The place is nice, perfect placed and full of people.
Service was nice.
Unluckily I think it needs to improve on the food (not bad just not good enough) :
Hash brown were oily and hard, not much potato there.overcooked.
Green Smoothie was supposed to have banana and mango but I could only taste spinach.
Toasts were burnt, too salty and way way too much butter.
They served both coffees with no spoons?
No options for how we wanted the eggs other than fried or pouch (but no scrambled? !).
But hey, nobody is perfect and all can be improved (very young service and very busy when we were there).
I hope this is taken as good critic.
Must stop for at least a take away coffee. Absolutely great coffee. Have not tried food but i think i might when I go back to Victor Harbour
Food and coffee was really good here. Attached directly to the beach volleyball courts, there is plenty of space and sand toys for the little ones also.
Fantastic coffee, really cute little cafe that sits right next to the beach volleyball. Food was really good too. Service could be a bit friendlier
Great place. I go there everytime I am in Victor. They have lots of vegan options including vegan cheese
Try the Bacon & Egg Roll. Won’t disappoint. Location is great and has a really good vibe to it. Stroll the beach after your coffee as you are right there. Parking is easy not matter the size of car.
Nice taste but small plate along with they should use Bigg plate (Size of the plate, not serve?)
Relaxing venue providing indoor and/or outdoor setting to enjoy beautiful Arabic coffee, snacks and meals prepared to your individual taste and preferences.
Me and my girlfriend got a Mocha and hot chocolate from here and they were both outstanding. I can't judge the food as we didn't have any but if the drinks were anything to go on by I would say the food would be amazing.
Dog and child friendly with interesting food and good coffee, by the sea! What more could you ask!
Coffee and hot chocolates made perfectly. Milk was consistent in texture all the way through, hot chocolate was dark and not overly sweet. Also tried a brownie which had big walnut chunks:)
We went on Australia day, so it was understandably busy. 3 out of 4 of us thought our meals were ok and the 4th enjoyed his meal. It is in a great spot with beach sand for the kids to play in but definately needs more than a few unbrellas as shelter from the hot sun.
Amazing little cafe hopefully stays nice and quiet like it was during our visit so the masses dont ruin its casual vibe. Beautiful food and coffee very relaxed setting!
Actually very disappointed, and how come 4.6 stars? Why would you call ham and cheese toast CROQUE MONSIEUR? Food comes in paper boxes or plastic containers. Kids vegimite toast had probably half a jar of it.
