Worst experience at this venue. Unprofessional staff, (The staff member in question is the slightly dark skin chubby woman, I believe she is from New Zéland Māori) Be aware of her. Highly unprofessional and makes unsolicited remarks and comments. She was too busy badmouthing and slandering both my friend and I behind each other. When I ask her why she would do such a thing, she wouldn’t even issue an apology and was being confrontational. Mind you, I visit that venue often and her unprofessional behaviour came as a total shock to me.
I contacted the venue management and made an official complaint by I never heard back from them.
Patrons deserve respect and privacy, maybe spend some time training your staff.

Always a bit of a environmental compromise considering this venue is one of the very few that remain open until 5am every night. The chairs have started tearing and the coffee machine was being cleaned at 3am which was a little bit earlier than I’d have expected for a late shut venue. Staff friendly enough. Security polite and opened door for us. General sketchy pokie heads in attendance as usual at this type venue.

Pleasant pokies bar with friendly helpful staff and a mix of older and newer machines went there 3 times during our 9 day stay in Adelaide. It was nicer than the one visit to sky city Adelaide.

Staff were very friendly. But the fish & chips were horrible. The fish was off. But the staff was amazing they offered my money back

Jo Jo is an absolute star, the venue is very lucky to have such an enthusiastic warm welcoming employee. Literally puts a smile on my face every time…. Oh and she can whip up a mean burger!

Pulteney Pokies is a venue that suits a certain market, and for that market, I think it does a decent job. Kind of like a smelly TAB, but with food and alcohol.
The staff were very pleasant and the service was good.
Recommended for some 3am hot chips if the need arises.

A little demographically challenging last night and the members spirit special wasnt available.
Having said that I had fun the staff were promt and friendly as usual also I caught up with some of my mob I havent seen for a while.

Area has been refurbished. Tidy clean and safe. Staff still welcoming and helpful.

The staff are quite friendly, the machines reasonable returnable food fantastic! A good time out everytime!

Great staff, though needs a better variety of machines in my personal opinion.

The other main plus is their late trading hours which, for someone who does shift work like myself, is always very welcome.

Every second machine is not in use. It's just a hassle especially when ya trying to spend all ya skrilla

We hadn't been for quite a while and decided to go. They have got all the latest machines and we had a great time playing on them.
The staff are always friendly and we are never without a drink in our hand.

Today I met one of the newer staff members her name was EMMA I wasn't impressed at all it was as if she alone had flipped a switch and the whole of the venue went into a downward spiral of glumness. All the other times that I have gone into Pultney pokies when DESTINY and JANET and ADAM were working the venue is pleasant, bright and full of life when any of these people are working, you are made to feel welcome and made to feel like you are oart of a very large family. Its a shame to see the venue change so quickly because of the employment of one person who happens not to have basic customer service skills.

This is a wonderful establishment. Tall Adam is great, Zane is a champ. Tall Adam, come to Greek!

I just had the best experience at this venue, had plenty of affordable drinks, and had the best service from the two young girls, Janet and Destiny, behind the bar, they were funny, friendly and knew all about the footy! Will definitely come back.

Staff are very friendly but the public who go there can be a bit full on, the staff always smile and arent afraid to have a joke with you, great service and a cool little bottleshop to buy from aswell (:

Appalled by the young women that work here. One is so loud and obnoxious and has no filter and happily informs customers of her pot smoking and the other is just as bad. They were happily discussing their pot smoking and carrying on worse then my own 3 year old twins. Management need to conduct some drug testing. The loud obnoxious girl could barely lift her eyelids. The empty bar and gaming room should be a noted warning to all who walk in. Will not be back. To the young girls who work there you are the very reason honest hardworking people like myself will not step foot in your workplace again.
