Protec Gas Services

I give this company ZERO stars. Our technician, in a follow up visit to our home this afternoon - barged into our home, agitated and angry. He verbally abused me. I felt unsafe in my own home, as this man continued to yell at me. He accused me of imagining a problem and making things up, after we paid him $544.08. He then said he was done with this, stormed out and slammed our front door shut. All the while, angry and verbally aggressive.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. I am incredibly upset and distressed by my encounter with him. I am going to consider my recourse so this inappropriate, unprofessional behaviour does not happen again. No one should ever feel unsafe in their own home when a technician attends. There is no justification for this behaviour.

Easy to make a booking. Efficient booking monitoring via text. Excellent pre-service information. Technician was excellent. He explained what would be done, kept the area clean and was careful. Explained repair and ongoing care. Got a very dirty, unloved gas fire working perfectly.

Trent was fabulous. Genuine, helpful and efficient service. The kind that is real and sadly lacking today. Good explanations and justification for everything. I felt our gas heater got the best of attention. Highly recommended business.

I was very impressed with this service. The booking person was helpful and took full details-she was interested and informative. The booking was confirmed by sms the day before. The technician (Trent) came at the agreed time and was prepared for the specific jobs. He serviced 2 gas heaters and explained in detail what he was doing and why. He repositioned a moving gas stove top. He was polite and seemed very knowledgeable about the devices. He had a positive approach to the tasks/difficulties. He cleaned up very well. I recommend this service.

Easy booking experience and great to deal with. Trent was on time, friendly and provided a great service. Also ran through the machine's operations and some of the components that may need replacing in the future.

Professional friendly service with care taken to protect our carpet and surrounds. We were fully informed before and finally when the job was completed about what was happening. This is our third engagement with Protec and we will continue to use their services.

This is the second time we've had Protec Gas come and service our wall heater. The technician turns up on time, adheres to Covid-19 protocols (as did I), he tests every part of the heater to ensure that it is in perfect working order and all with a professional and friendly manner. Will certainly be using Protec Gas again for our next service (in two years). Happily recommend Protec Gas.

I would highly recommend Protec Gas Services for general repairs or servicing of your Gas Heater.

Again this year Protec have serviced my gas heater - why, because I know they will do it properly. Previously I've used the manufacturer's designated repairer and others.but have spent money time and time again in getting them back to FIX it. As yet, I've never had to call Protec back to fix what they've already done. Worth the money to get it right the first time!

Trent came to fix our gas fireplace and managed to correctly diagnose the problem within 10 minutes. He fixed the problems and cleaned up well within his estimated time. I was very happy with his professionalism and friendliness and would be happy to recommend him and Protec

Protec's technician Tony has been extra professional and thorough in his work, and did a great job of cleaning up all the dust in my heater, and replacing parts at reasonable cost. I am happy that my Quasar 40 heater is now up and running very efficiently and safely, after not having been serviced for 20 years! I'm going to be lovely and toasty this winter.

I found the staff very helpful and friendly when I called to make the appointment and when the technician came to service my heater I found him very helpful with instructing me how to use the heater and very friendly. I will be using Protec gas Services again when my heater needs another service. Thank you.
