Prince Albert Hotel reviews
65Had breakfast with two of my favourite people.it was great and the decor and music were on theme!
We had a very lovely dinner at the pub / cafe. We sat a table with off chairs from the 80s. Food portioning was generous and good value. We tried the beef roast, salt and pepper squid, fish and chips, and chicken snitizel. Nothing fancy but really nice.
I went here for dinner with a friend! Good range of Drinks, Food, Kids menu and sitting area! HAVE A FABULOUS DAY, Hope this helped heaps
The steak was overcooked, which was disappointing however the Pollo Avocado was amazing and the schnitzel huge.
Hotel with retro charm. Staff are amazing! They have been very accommodating to the group who attend regular coffee mornings here. Fabulous staff, always friendly and smiling.
Even when there is a power outage, the PAH team are super amazing at getting orders out once power was restored.
Meals have been tasty, look amazing and well priced.
Love the cake and coffee deal.the scones are served with a generous topping of jam & cream.delicious
Highly recommend the Prince Albert Hotel.

Great lunch today, we both went for $17 for 1/2 snitzels, beef, salad, chips and house gravy and chicken, salad, chips and extra $4 for garlic sauce. Great meal couldn't fault it. Service was great also.great options for the $17 lunch options.thank you
One of the best cooked steaks and pepper gravy I've eaten for a longtime. Thursday $20 Steak night made it even better. Highly recommend.
Cozy oldschool pub, good beer choices changing constantly and a nice outdoor area. Plenty of tables and good food on offer. Can get pretty loose on the weekend. A must on a Gawler pub crawl or just a couple any day of the week.
Rang on Monday night around 6.30 for a booking for the Tuesday night and it rang out three times. Went elsewhere
Beef shnitzel was so thin, dry/overcooked and served with coleslaw and chips. I really think the chef would benefit by trying thier own food served. It would soon improve the quality of the food. Bring back the side salad please.
Toffee Apple cocktail of the month lured me in! Was delicious Shared the nachos, they were some of the best I've had!
We went there to celebrate a birthday.
We had the buffet.
There was a good selection of food to choose from.
A great variety of drinks for consumption.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
It was a clean place.
It had a quiet and relaxing atmosphere about it.
There were plenty of parking spaces available.
I truly recommend trying out this hotel.
You won't be disappointed.
Happened to wander in on a Tuesday night and got the burger menus - and I can honestly say that I haven't had a meal anywhere near as good as this in Gawler for a very, very long time. Staff were great, food was fantastic. Plus, I like their business model - no Pokies, no TAB, just great food - and they certainly delivered.
Saw Scramlette on the menu and didn't look any further. Was fantastic. Nice quiet, friendly environment for a relaxed breakfast wake up. Reasonable prices too. 6 stars!
Came on a " All you can eat Smorgasbord" night which at $25 a head you expect something decent.
We waited in line for 40 minutes! To be served our food (no you can't get it yourself) which the selection was Chips, cold turkey slices, roast veg, a random curry and small sized schitzels.they were out of bread rolls and although the staff were nice enough it was not a good experience and we left hungry.
Sadly disappointed and other customers around us were too.
Arrived around 11.30am on a cold rainy Wednesday. Staff acknowledged us immediately. We were so surprised at the friendly greetings, the Guiness on tap and the warm atmosphere created by the log fire and Olde word surroundings. A great experience for us and I can recommend highly to others.
Oh! And no pokies!
Very unhappy with there so called buffet walked out with out even finishing first serve never again
Great venue for end of week drinks with our friends, tasteful live music and pleasant atmosphere.
Cozy oldschool pub, good beer choices changing constantly and a nice outdoor area. Plenty of tables and good food on offer. Can get pretty loose on the weekend
Spontaneously decided to try this pub for lunch with my two young kids. I ordered the roast special which was turkey and it was sooooo delicious and hit the spot. Fries serving was huge but still cheap. Easy ham and cheese toastie for an affordable kids meal. Breakfast until 2pm is also a great option. The huge drawcard was the kids play area which has tables just next door so you can relax whilst you kids can play and not be bored. My kids loved it. One less star though as the coffee was not great. Not sure if the almond milk was old but just couldn’t drink it. Thanks, we will be back ️
